Thanks for the thoughts and prayers - as I just said to someone in a PM to an old social work-y type like me it is fascinating to watch the group dynamics and at times getting to play the big bad guy.

A young neighbour's wife is in hospital due to deliver a baby any time soon but scans, etc. show the baby has a very weak pulse - everything is under close observation but the situation is dodgy - please hold H and his family in the Light.

Some twenty months ago, I asked for prayers for my friends' son, J, who was severely injured in an accident: http://forum.ship-of-fools.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=70;t=021224;p=20#000999

Sadly, after a long struggle with head trauma and complications including many infections, and finally pneumonia, he has entered into heavenly rest. Prayers appreciated for his family, struggling with "why?" - J was only 40.

Thanks,

TEB

Praying over each post [Votive]

I pray for all those bereaved, especially for those grieving for Gilbert, my dear grandad, who died earlier this year [Votive]

I've had a cold and went back to work too soon and lost my voice. Still struggling to throw off the infection. I know if I go in tomorrow I will lose my voice again. Please pray that I learn that I am not indispensible, and that any guilt I feel is just a bi-product of pride [Votive]

For Welease Woderwick. For H and family, to be comforted in their loss.

For JoannaP's mother, for healing.

For reconciliation for Lothlorien Minor and his partner.

For healing for North East Quine.

For ebeth, for a Great Leap Forward.

For the new Pope of the Coptic Church.

For chive and brother in law, for tact, wisdom and calm.

For Robert Armin.

For all who feel sad at daisymay's church.

For TE Brown's J, hold him in Your loving arms, Lord. Let TE Brown's friends and family be comforted in their loss.

For Mad Cat and for those grieving for her granddad Gilbert. For healing for Mad Cat, as well as a sense of proportion about these things.

I have had a pretty good day today though I'm skating on the edge right now. For another good day tomorrow. In particular, for the banishment of the Finance Monster.

For the Telemum.

For R.

For a private intention.

For A and her baby. The child evidently came full term, but is now in neonatal care. This was an unexpected pregnancy, but the young lady has been squaring her shoulders to prepare to both work at and enjoy motherhood. No problems that I know of were expected; she had prenatal care. And now this. [Frown]

I'm fearful of the recurrence of ME. I started taking an SSRI in about 2002 - the ME symptoms disappeared and have been absent since. I've stopped the medication, and am worried that this bad dose of cold is lingering and making me weak in an ME type of way.
