Micky's out of intensive care. Apparently stoned out of his mind with all the drugs that kept him still and not ripping out those tubes. Uncle says he's flying high. I can believe it!

He'll be in the hospital for a few more days while they make sure he's healing properly.

I am so happy!

For malik3000, melanoma be gone!

For Pine Marten's JB, for his lung to be healed and for his family.

Oh, CofE. Lucky I'm not in your gang!

For Mary LA's friend in Goma, Congo, and all affected by the trouble there.

For the repose of the soul of Aggie's neighbour.

For comet.

For Zoey's child protection investigation.

Safe travel and drug-free healing for Mad Cat, please.

For QLib and MomLib.

For all affected by today's shelling in Gaza.

For Lucia's interviews to be fair and successful.

For Oscar P's dad's cousin S, for healing, and for G for healing.

For Amos.

For PeteC's Micky, for healing.

For travelling, thermostat, and officialdom mercies for Welease Woderwick.

For swift success of my project at work.

For a private project which I'd love to be successful.

For my heart's desire.

For K. and her mother.

For R. and another R.

For continued banishment of the Finance Monster. I would like to start saving next month even if the laws of physics have to be rearranged to achieve that.

For the Telemum. She had a panic attack today and was very forgetful (which could be due to the high calcium levels combined with a bad ADD day). Every time she gets stressed she thinks it's a nail in her coffin, and every time she gets flaky she worries that she's going senile. Well, I hope it's not that way.

For the right outcome for Mad Cat's doctor's visit (retroactively)

For healing for Robert Armin.

For healing for Caissa's friend Laurie.

For Welease Woderwick.

Had a phone call from my old boss asking how my new job is going, and inquiring about my future availability if he were able to get funding. If I were to end up working for him again, it would be great, with the caveat that he was flaky about certain things critical to my career progression and they would need to happen next time around.

And for the success of my current project.

And for banishment of the finance monster.

And for my heart's desire.

The Telemum was much smarter today and overall her symptoms aren't nearly as troublesome.

[Votive] all of us

Ended the day and came home somewhat furious - reported some cunt from the CallCentre who upset one of my customers by being totally shitty to her when she was doing exactly what I asked her to -AND, despite my explicit notes all over the universal database, didn't bother to let me know she'd rung back. Referred it upwards and think we've traced the asshole - I, and my colleagues, try so damn hard with folk to try to ease what is obviously a difficult time; it only takes one bloody prick to destroy all our efforts. For Mad Cat.

For the darkness to flee before Your clear light.

For Jahlove, her customer, and the call centre employee.

For the Telemum.

For the Telecat2, who does not live here but spends the afternoon on the sofa, presumably announcing that he'll be at his club.

For the neighbours G, S, and S (and ostensible family of the Telecat2 among other cats). One of them may be headed for imprisonment and there is some concern about the influence on the younger sibling.

For R. and another R.

Over the past few weeks I've asked for prayer without being able to explain why. Thank you all - I've felt the upholding, comfort, protection and butt-kicking from these prayers and I thank God for you all. [Overused] [Votive]

Next Friday I'm going to have an operation for a very early stage cancer. It could easily have been missed, is completely confined, and all being well I'll need no further treatment post op. Add to this that I have discovered that I have some truly wonderful people on my side, and I feel very blessed and thankful right now. If you would continue to keep me in your prayers please, that would be wonderful.

Blessings, A

Just came from PeteC's "Cancer sucks" thread on Hell -- prayers for all there . And as one within whom a spot or 2 of metastasized melanoma lurks i thank God that in God's inexplicable goodness i have been spared what people who have this are not usually spared. Why i should be so spared to this point i don't know -- but my ongoing prayer is for all my fellow melanoma-carrying folk who are suffering so much more than me, and that a meaningful cure can soon come, or at least a meaningful lifetime management regimen, a la HIV/AIDS.

For Spiffy's B starting chemotherapy, and that a way can be found to pay for it -- and an end to a cruel, inhumane, barbaric, and ungodly system that requires that worrying about payment be a factor.

for all suffering illness or injury or facing operations.

for Adrienne, may the operation go smoothly and may that be an end of the problem

for all who have passed from this earthly life -- may they rejoice in peace for ever -- and for all who mourn their passing.

for discernment for Grammatica

for all who have problems to deal with at their work

for all who have financial difficulties

for the Telemum

for all suffering in Syria, Congo, Nigeria and elsewhere on this strife-torn planet

for the whole Body of Christ, that amidst our diversity of practices and traditions we may, as Jesus prayed, "all be one" -- one in the Spirit of the Love Who is God.

for all

For Adrienne, pesky cancer be gone!

For Curious' D.

For Jahlove.

For Kelly Alves.

For Robert Armin.

For Starbug's E.

For malik3000, melanoma be gone! and who is actively contributing to improved outcomes for his fellow patients. Everything that he said.

What St Everild said.

Telemum was worn out this morning but all chipper and super-productive this evening. This is definitely a better weekend than the last one!

Would appreciate some of your prayers as well - there may be some sort of bullying going on in one of my jobs, lest I'm seriously mistaken (which I hope I am...). Would be glad for a solution to a particularly untenable situation within that job.

Also applying for more work in other places, which should be out there. Timing would be nice. As well, I need to find one especially good job reference doc I have somewhere on my computer, and which would nicely complete my documentation.

I'm normally quite good in what I do, but ATM very unsettled by the aforementioned state of affairs, like so --> [Ultra confused] .

Many thanks. [Votive]

Please pray: I managed work on Friday, and Saturday was fine, but this morning I wasn't well enough to go to church.

The chest infection had left me feeling weak and shaky, symptoms I last had when I had ME. I've started back on my medication which, last time, fixed the symptoms in about a week.

In the meantime I pray for all of us here and for health and strength, for banishment of fear, for peace and the assurance of God's great goodness. [Votive]

Please pray for us at St. Spike's and our new rector C.

C's gut pain appears to have had a cancer component. This is obviously worse than we hoped but her prognosis appears to be good. Prayers for her full recovery would be much appreciated, as would prayers for the Wardens and Vestry, who are once again running the show.

We give thanks for the support of our Bishop, who came to be with us at services today (his idea) to encourage us.

For Tree Bre, Sal Bal, I and G.

For Curious' D and for D's family to be comforted in their loss.

For Nicolemrw's brother to find a job soon.

For Wesley J's job situation. For any bullying to be abolished.

For Mad Cat, for healing.

For Grammatica to get over the whelm.

For St Spike's and for healing of the new rector C.

The Telemum is all well again, thank You!

I need to make a financial decision this week. Seems I can't do right for doing wrong.

For a good day's work tomorrow and success of various private intentions.

For my heart's desire.

Take emptiness and lying speech far from me, and do not give me poverty or wealth. Give me a living sufficient for me.
