My niece is expecting twins in June after many years of trying to conceive.

I am a VERY excited great aunt-in-waiting, these will be the first babies in our family for 24 years!

Congratulations!

I'm sure there are several instructions manuals available but I sincerely doubt whether they will agree with one another about ANYTHING!!

Put milk in one end and take the stuff away from the other seems to be rule one. I gather you should also keep it away from naked flames.

Congratulations.

NHS Scotland does Ready Steady Baby - which we found reassuring to have around. It doesn't tell us what to do now the Dafling is now half way to being a toddler and has decided that life is too short to eat or sleep.

Those here who know me elsewhere have been very restrained in not letting the ship know that the second Kipplet is due in August

(and my apologies for announcing this to the Ship much later than elsewhere)

Not for much longer Pete! [Smile]

Now that I've announced it in that Other Place, it's time to announce that The Machine Elf and I are having a baby. *It's actually due next month, but I am currently having a Bit of a Do with my health and am in hospital (just out for a few hrs good behaviour this afternoon) so it's looking likely it will be earlier than that. Eek.

* still an 'it' currently as we don't know the gender.
