Dear God, what an awful experience. I'm glad it ended well but I imagine they are both shaken to the core.

It looks like my friend J's brain tumour is back. Not looking good.
Any prayers to spare also, please, for another friend, who was embroiled in a nasty incident at work, and is very shaken as a result. Things are escalating as we speak with disciplinary procedures kicking in. She's not in any trouble herself, but it is a horrid situation, and comes just when she really needs focus to finish a major project.
And lastly, please pray for my littlest niece, who is developing some worrying anxiety issues. My sister could do with prayer too as she seeks how to handle this.
Lots of requests. Thank you all. I'm glad I can come here.

I could use a few prayers, I think.
I landed in the ER the other day - a painful but I hope not disastrous middle-aged-male sort of thing. Pain is better now and I'm just uncomfortable. Follow-up appointment is already set for Monday.

Praying for all who have posted here.
And I would appreciate it if you could pray for me … I’m just feeling very lonely and depressed tonight: - worrying about a medical problem that I thought was over and finished years ago but now it seems it might be a problem again. (I have an appointment with my GP next Friday to talk about whether anything needs to be done) And on the eve of Mothering Sunday, I’m missing my mum very much – even though she’s been gone 12 years…
Thank you

I was taken to the hospital on Monday via ambulance and just released from there. I'd really appreciate continued prayers as it was life threatening when I went in. Am doing much better, but still quite ill.

I still haven't found anywhere to live so tomorrow I have to contact the housing department to declare myself as being homeless.
I have to leave here by the 8th April, although I could wait until the landlady gets a court order. The problem is that I need my deposit back and I know I'm going to be fighting for it because of her attitude towards me.
Please pray that I find somewhere affordable soon, and that plans to fall into place should I not find anywhere by the eviction date.
Please also pray for me as I start packing and send the cat for an extended holiday with my ex partner to prevent him getting stressed.

Please keep in your prayers my pastor, who has suddenly taken a medical leave for medical issues linked to depression, and our pastoral intern, who now finds herself in the primary leadership position in our church (with assistance from our synodical bishop and his assistant)in our pastor's absence. This all happened without warning, and I suspect with more backstory than what was communicated to most of us. (Our pastor sent out e-mails and a brief pastoral letter for our website announcing his leave and his unavailability for the next month or so, and our intern reviewed it this morning for the assembled congregation.) So far people seem to be taking the news in stride and have stepped up to keep the work of the church moving along, but of course it's a jolt, especially for our intern. [ 11. please pray for a couple of my co-workers: S, who's on her way to rehab soon and very nervous about it, but chose to do it herself. we're very proud of her but she's very afraid. also, that we can be the right kind of supportive when she returns.
and for K, who've having a really tough time dealing after the suicide of his brother. I'm really worried about him and trying to get him to go to a counsellor.
also for M, who isn't a coworker: he's a former schoolmate of my daughters. the other night he cried all over me and threatened suicide. I'm doing what I can, but he needs a lot of prayers, too. he has a family who are NOT terribly supportive.

Please pray for my friend M who over the last twenty years has pulled out of the a debilitating depression to land a good career (she thought ). Now she is facing serious physical issues and is getting little support at work. She's about five years from retirement but is not sure she'll make it without becoming too disabled to continue her job to its conclusion. This is weighing very heavily on her and is reigniting her depression. All I can do is listen. She is so brave and so spiritual- it just kills me!

Please pray for my dear friend, E. She's been a special needs teacher for many years, but the stress of her job is now affecting her health and she's considering a career change. She's also having to train an apprentice with an attitude problem, as if the pupils who spit at her and hit her weren't enough. May she have the strength to talk to her boss about the situation.
