My Dad is bedbound in the hospital section of care home where he lives. He is confused and is very unwell.

He's in God's hands - I'm beyond praying for a specific outcome.

My landlady from hell has just visited despite and said that i should have moved out today and she wanted to know what was happening as she has decorators "on hold".

She wants me to pay her rent and clean the carpets and leave the place ready for new tenant despite the fact that the builders will make a mess.

Please pray for this situation as it's upset me.

For Grammatica's friend, for healing, For her husband and family.

For Churchy, for good energy and replacement of the thing that disappointed.

For Huia and Dad.

For St Gwladys' Ros and H.

For continued funding for me, funding for my side-project, good habit forming, Finance Monster at bay, etc.

The Telemum listened to a suggestion made by a shipmate and has enjoyed improved knee action today, so many thanks for that. Her thyroid operation is on the 15th of next month.

I would be massively grateful if you could pray for my daughter Ginger (4) tonight as she's been having some problems with her breathing last night and today. Things seem to have improved in the last few hours, and if we can have a settled night I think we'll have turned a corner. I am on amber alert for an early hours hospital dash though...

((Nanny Ogg)) - if she wants you out faster she can try taking you to court and I'd love to see the solicitor's bill for that - and she rather has the evidence stacked against her so she wouldn't get anywhere anyway.

Our project manager was taken ill this morning and it was a project board meeting today! He is in hospital wired up for this, that and the other and has now got in touch himself.

The meeting went OK, I hope we can reassure him and that helps him recover. [Votive] S.

A woman who lives in Australia, AJ (not her initials) with whom i am in cybercommunication on another message board has, like me, metastatic ocular -- eye-originated -- melanoma (which is rarer and somewhat different than the more well-known cutanaceous -- skin-originated -- melanoma, but equally serious when it metasticized). As i have mentioned here several times, one and a half years after my diagnosis, i still feel in great health and the tiny metastasis has not progressed significantly in that time. I can probably attribute this wonderful situation to the fact that just in the last couple of years a couple of extremely hopeful treatments have appeared -- in particular one called ipilimumab (Yervoy).

For some reason the Australian Ministry of Health is way behind the curve on ocular melanoma compared to other "developed" countries. Yervoy and similar treatment are ignored and not available to people like AJ. (Without it being an approved drug Yervoy costs 30,000 US dollars per infusion -- yes, thousands) As a result people in Australia with ocular melanoma are looking at life's end. Yet she maintains a surprisingly life-affirming attitude.

When i compare AJ's situation to mine it breaks my heart. My strong prayer is that somehow this situation can change for AJ (and others in the same situation) before it is too late for her.

Starbug - you will be in our prayers on Monday. Everyone will tell you that the day before is the worst! The preparation is no fun, but the procedure itself is usually easy, though a bit undignified. If you have good nurses they will get into the spirit of it and laugh with you, and it will be over quickly.

My cancer surgery will be on Wednesday, so the comfort of prayers will be good to have.

Peace to you all.

I would appreciate prayers for decision making skills - I am in process of applying for permanent job at same employer in different department, but I'm not sure if I want to move departments. However, I'm currently on fixed term and am trying to weigh everything up (whilst also attempting to prepare for interview).

I have no idea what I will say to the question "Why do you want to work here/in this dept/ in this role?", which is making me very anxious.

Lord P has a job interview in Ebbw Vale on Tuesday. It's another traineeship, so low wages, but sounds interesting and at least he could live at home. If he gets it, his girlfriend will also need a job in this area, preferably something to do with equine admin. Please pray that they will both get jobs in the same area geographically.

For Nicolemr.

For Nanny Ogg, and for the dragon landlady to learn some compassion.

For healing for Sioni's project manager.

For Raptor Eye's neighbours, for healing.

For healing for Yam-pk's mum.

For Stercus Tauri, for healing.

For wisdom and eloquence for Mrs Shrew.

For a financial miracle for comet.

A new prospect for further funding for my post has come up. For success of this project, and continued employment. Also for funding for my side-project.

For two private intentions.

For the Telemum.

I have a bug, I'm on antibiotics and 'complete voice rest' while I recover. But I have a 4yr old and a 2yr old and a poorly husband which is making the voice rest very difficult and rest itself almost impossible. I know it's a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but we'd appreciate prayer.

Prayers please, my whole right leg is giving me grief. Sore heel which is slowly getting better, but still hurts when I walk, a knee which causes me pain from old injury has decided now is the time to flare up and now right hip seems to want to join into the mix. One thing at a time I can live with, but all three at once is making me very grumpy. No doubt part of it is that the pain is keeping me awake. So healing along with an uplift in my attitude would be most gratefully received.
