And my prayer request is similar to the first part of Jack's, I am very bogged down with marking and teaching this week, as well as my own studies and a work course to do in my spare time. Please pray for my time management and relief from anxiety which tends to make me bad-tempered. I also need to re-apply for one of my teaching roles this week, it should be straightforward but please pray for that. Many thanks.

I've had to take a day off today as the car had to go to the garage, but I've loads of work to catch up with in work. I could do with a couple of really quiet days to try and get up to date.

I had a phone call last night from my specialist's PA - the biopsy results have come through for my colonoscopy. I've got an appointment on Thursday morning and would value your prayers, please. I'm 99% sure that it's IBS, but even so that raises a whole series of questions about stress at work.

Please pray for P, my boyfriend. He's not been well for months and months now. We hoped some recent tests might show up what was wrong - but the latest results seem to show nothing. I know something's up, but not what. Please pray that the docs would help find the underlying cause of his illnesses and be able to treat it....

Bad accident closed the highway near here. 18-wheeler head on with a car on a bridge. At least one dead. Our EMS crew has been out all night. I'm praying it's not locals, but prayers needed for all.

For a missing little girl, here in California. IIRC, her name is Michaela. She's 9, and severely autistic. A neighbor's surveillance cam shows her *happily* running down the road, by herself, without clothes. Lots of people, both professionals and volunteers, are out looking for her. IIRC, they've checked about 10 sq. miles. But they've also got neighbors checking their yards for any place kids might think a good hiding place for hide and seek.

For me: getting rid of this rotten cold.

Thanks!

Telemum is home, I have to go into the office tomorrow and I am afraid to leave her unsupervised. She might throw a wild party and trash the place.

I am going to be snowed under as usual with job pressure AND jobhunt pressure. Whoever said "it's easier to find a job when you have a job" said a mouthful.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. I got my biopsy results yesterday and was given the all clear. No cancer, Chrohn's Disease or any other 'sinister' conditions, as my specialist put it. He siad it could be IBS, but unless the symptoms were really bad it wouldn't be worth going through all the tests for food allergies etc. Things are pretty good at the moment, so I'm going to leave it there.

Thank you for your prayers and also to everyone who sent me and emails as well. I really do appreciate all the support. [Axe murder]

Your prayers for me and my family over the next few days would be very much appreciated.

It's my mum's 70th birthday on Sunday, and we're having a weekend of celebrations. Sounds wonderful, but she suffers badly from depression for which she refuses to seek any treatment, and so the whole thing will feel awkward and alien to her. We couldn't not celebrate, but I'm very, possibly excessively, aware of the potential for everything to go badly wrong.

Also, there are things I need to do today when I'd rather just mooch around getting my energy levels back up after a fortnight on antibiotics.

Praying for those in need, and giving thanks with Starbug - as a fellow sufferer from awkward innards. [Votive]

For Ariel's friend, for healing, and for upholding for the friend's wife.

For malik3000's cousin C, his son, and the mother of his son; for mutual understanding, and long-term career success.

For all living beings, for an end to all the misunderstanding, cruelty, torture, exploitation, and indifference. May minds and hearts be open, starting with us.

For malik3000, melanoma and related and unrelated health issues begone!

For Niteowl and Mother Owl.

For Jack the Lass's workload, for energy and focus; and for conflict resolution for her at work, and for Mum and Dad the Lass.

For Year Six children facing SATs, and for Japes' B and S. For healing for D.

For calm and task management for Abigail.

The Telemum is fine, please pray that the operation will have brought her complete healing. In particular, her calcium regime for osteoporosis is going to be an issue needing correct handling.

For T., just now being reunited with his daughter, who is now 31, and who went into the adoption system when she was 5 due to circumstances entirely not of T's making. She is overwhelmed with the emotion of it all, and he gets to be worried about her shenanigans like driving despite having a seizure disorder, etc.

For R. The doctors think he may not have much time left, and they've been saying that for ages, but it could be true this time. I'd like to find the strength to go see him before it's too late.

Oh look, see how many days I've missed? I really need good time management here. It's working! But the road to forming this complex habit is long. And meanwhile I don't have nearly all the being an adult-type life skills that a successful grown-up style adult like me should be sporting.

Overwhelming pressure to get gorgeous demos out!!! Job hunting!!! No time to lose!!! Also I have an interview on Wednesday. And I need to publish.

I want to lie in a dark room, kthx

(Oh and please can my side-project be funded)

Take emptiness and lying speech far from me, and do not give me poverty or wealth. Give me a living sufficient for me.
