Yesterday I passed an accident on the road while the paramedics were giving CPR. It appears that the man involved has died. Please pray for the repose of his soul and for everyone involved. Also in a minor way for me - the accident was a couple of miles from where a friend of mine was killed a couple of months ago and it has really shaken me.

For my side-project I need to do something time-sensitive, and I cannot get all the information that I need in order to do it. (Oh, no sooner said than 50% of it is done - but I need the other 50%)

For the repose of the soul of the man seen by chive yesterday. And for chive, in the loss of a beloved friend.

For (((((Holjo's son))))) and family.

For Starbug in the loss of P. For R and S in particular.

For the repose of the soul of Mad Cat's D, and for Mad Cat and C and L to be comforted.

For the best outcome at Chamois' work.

For healing for Welease Woderwick's S. For roof repair for Antony, and healing for S's mum and for it not to be dengue.

For Gussie's son, for employment very soon. For healing for Mother-In-Law Gussie.

I would only pay so much attention to interview feedback, yes project a little more enthusiasm next time, but always take it with a pinch of salt. Feedback isn't always a reflection of everyone's tastes, nor even necessarily given for the right reasons.

For the innards of Ethne Alba's P.

For a great job for Yam-pk.

For healing for Jengie Jon's N's son-in-law and daughter.

For exceptional productivity and calm for Starbug.

For healing for Tabitha, Tim and Sophia, and for Tabby's extended family.

For success for Mad Cat and students.

For upholding for Raptor Eye, and for comfort and strength for J and F.

For employment for brothermr.

For healing for Lucia, and a successful journey.

For malik3000's J and his finances. For purpose and spiritual abundance for L.

For malik3000, melanoma be gone! Prostate cancer be gone!

For the increasingly elusive success of my current project at work. I have blown my good habit forming. Need to pull it all back together tomorrow.

I think the new neighbours might be moving in properly now because as it turns out, the walls are like tissue paper and I can hear everything. Please, let's have no noise issues ever, as of this moment.

Telemum's blood pressure is great, thanks for prayers!

The interview my brother went on yesterday was a scam. Fortunatly he didn't fall for it, but it's disheartening. Please pray that he finds something real, and soon.

Prayers for all here.

Praying for all by name. [Votive]

Thank you for your prayers. Work-wise, I seem to be doing an impersonation of the White Queen from Alice (i.e. running to stand still). It would be nice if I could actually make some progress, so that all the running actually gets me somewhere! Plus, I'm representing a union member on the oddest case our branch secretary has ever come across!

I haven't kept up with the prayer thread lately but adding my prayers for all who need them. Thanks for the summary, Telepath.

Please pray for my cousin T. One of his best friends died in a car accident yesterday after a tree branch fell on his car. He was only nineteen. Please also pray for the young man's family and all his friends.

Please also pray for my cousin S's wife and daughters. S was killed in a car accident involving a drink driver last October. His daughter R. is really being hit with it all emotionally lately. I think she also might have known cousin T's friend, though not well.

Please pray for the Dowager Aunt M, who - having just got her arm out of plaster after a broken wrist - has fallen and broken her hip. At 92 she really isn't safe to live alone but won't recognise it.

And for my depressed alcoholic brother A, who is going into rehab for the second time today. He is desperate to win back his wife and child, though I fear that ship has sailed. Please Lord let real good come from this terrible situation.

Also for the Dowager Mrs S, the Dowager Aunt's only slightly younger sister (and of course mother to A) who is worn to a frazzle trying to respond to these crises.

And a little bit for me too as I try to negotiate the voluntary retirement/redundancy process.

... and now to Him who is always more ready to listen than we are to ask, or words to that effect ...

We have been getting jacked around on housing issues since January. today they called with more BS. it is ridiculous. And meanwhile, my kids and I are essentially camping because we were led to believe that everything was taken care of and it was a matter of weeks.

please pray that this situation fixes itself in a hurry with little to no more bull. Also please pray for my mother, as the stress of the whole thing is really getting to her.

Mad Cat's A, and her boyfriend: for reconciliation and their future.

Nicolemr's brother: for a real interview and a real job

Peace for Starbug and justice for her union member

More peace and comfort for Mili's cousin T and her cousin S's family

A pain-free operation for WW's student

The Intrepid Mrs S's dowager Aunt's M & S and her brother A. For a good start to the next phase of The Interpid Mrs S's life (you know that you're busier in retirement than before?).

The Midge's mum, dad family and The Midge

A resolution to the comet family's housing problem.

All my colleagues on the project going live this weekend. Data migration started at 3:30 pm today, wholly new system to be up and running 9am Monday. This will be the second substantial project to go live this year.

Lord, for all these, hear our prayers and smite those who would wish for anything otherwise (we can pray for a bit of smiting can we?)

I have one day to my copy-edit deadline. I have, at least, gone through the whole ms once, trying to repair the damage done to it, and am now trying for another read-through before I send it back. This day and tomorrow being my busiest days at school, naturally. [Roll Eyes]

I'm absolutely livid that I've been put in this position. I'm normally fairly sanguine about the slings and arrows of the editing process, but this time it feels like an act of deliberate vandalism on a work of art.

Obviously, I need to let my publisher know that I'm cross, and that I'll refuse to have this particular copy-editor anywhere near my work ever again. What I need is a form of words that won't burn my bridges, and they're difficult to find when I've wasted almost every waking hour over the last three weeks trying sort out this hideous, soul-destroying mess.

Thankyou for your prayers.....Jordan ( my son ) is stable but in a coma. His other injuries are healing. We get the results of the MRI scan today.... It is heartbreaking but we are not defeated.

We are praying for a good report today .....
