Please pray for K, a friend from my former church, who's been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. What makes it even worse is that our curate died of the same thing a few years ago, so she is very, very scared and distressed.

Praying for peace in all storms and comfort in all loss.
Malino (3) has some speech and language assessments this week as his glue ear induced deafness has caused issues. Please pray for accurate reports and a skilled person to help him catch up now he has his grommets in.
Also, one of our two cats has gone missing. She doesn't ever roam far so very concerned she is trapped somewhere or lying injured. It's the not knowing that is worst.

I have a job interview tomorrow, well, I guess it's today really as it's 01:18 now, but hey. I mentioned it on the now Limbo-ed Job Seekers thread here , and upthread here - so thank you for your prayers. Anyway, if anyone has a moment to pray for the interview - I imagine they may well give the job to someone they know, but it's always worth a go... I could do this job well, and I really need a job before both money and sanity run out. Thanks. Sorry to keep asking, I feel a bit bad posting about something so selfish.

Would appreciate a bit of upholding, as I'm feeling a bit wibbly. I know I'm being unreasonable and want to keep it well hidden from everyone in RL.
(Relatives have had Baby no. 3, and the photos are bringing memories of our third baby, who was stillborn, flooding back. So far, no-one in RL knows I'm not enjoying exclaiming over the lovely photos; I need to keep it that way.)
And prayers also please for baby S, who is truly georgeous, and for his parents and siblings.

Please pray for my mum, and for the rest of my family.
She fell over and broke her wrist really badly on Thursday. Was scheduled to be operated on today for the shattered bits of bone to be screwed together. Starvation since 6.30 a.m. - I believe it was postponed until Wednesday morning about 12 hours later.
The further complication in all of this is that my parents are resuming responsibility for before- and after-school care for my 2 nieces as of today, so everything was very fraught, and will be again on Wednesday, when term is fully underway.
The holiday has only just ended and everyone is already fraught.
I'm sitting 120 miles from all this, but I suspect I'd be feeling equally peripheral to proceedings wherever I was....

Prating for all by name.
I have a meeting with my manager to discuss my stress levels, as things have been getting on top of me. He gave me a form to fill out,identifying the areas of stress, but it doesn't really fit my situation - it was more a 'death by a thousand cuts', with lots of trivial things piling up and snowballing, with me underneath the snowball! Please pray that I will be able to explain this without sounding too emotional or incapable of doing my job. I'm very grateful that he's having this meeting with me, but we don't always have the smoothest working relationship.
