The post mortem showed that Mum died from a heart attack and then pulmonary oedema. Dad attempted CPR on her for 20 minutes but the doctor told him that whatever he had done wouldn't have made any difference due to the accumulation of fluid in her lungs.
It will probably take 3-4 days for mums body to be repatriated. My sister is there with dad and they are coming home on Monday.
This is like a terrible, unending nightmare.
I can't believe she is gone and I have no idea how we will cope without her. She was the glue that held us all together.
My heart is so very broken at the moment.

Praying through the list.
I had to go to the emergency room for a big problem yesterday afternoon, related to the new feeding tube. It was only installed a week ago! Thankfully it was resolved with the help of the surgeon, who happened to be in the building and worked hard to fix the problem. So, thank God for him! I'd like to pray for smoother sailing going forward and no more repeat visits to the E.R., please.

I'm in the thick of depression and need to be applying for jobs. My financial situation is pretty bad, although I know so many other people are much worse off. I need some kind of help getting to a place where I can have the confidence and motivation to do something about it. I'm not feeling completely hopeless, but I don't need hope as much as I need money. But I probably need the hope in order to do anything that will make money. And I need to get out of my head, it's not a safe place most of the time.

I'd appreciate your prayers.
About ten days ago I spoke to my doctor about anxiety and depression. She was very nice about it and gave me the number of a service to talk about some sort of talking therapy (as opposed to medication). I've been carrying it around in my pocket for a week.
In fact I'd almost sort of convinced myself that I didn't need to and that I was doing ok really... But last night and today I've been suffering from the kind of problem that finally convinced me I need to go to the doctor in the first place.
Long story short, I'm going to ring them tomorrow.
Please pray I go through with it and that it turns out well. I really can't keep on like this.
Thanks.

My kid and flatmate need continued prayers for permanent housing: HUD is giving them grief and withdrew their voucher a few weeks ago. They desperately want to move to another community up north with better summer and autumn weather: they do not fear the snow. They are both disabled although the flatmate is a former stockbroker who is trying to succeed in a small business venture.
My wife, Z, is also having ongoing health problems and chronically under-employed. My main job does not require a degree and she makes about half of what I do most days. She deserves better than supply teacher: she has a master's degree in education for God's sake!
Prayers for all who post here.
