In a group I follow on Facebook, it appears that another person who follows that group may have just taken a bunch of sleeping pills and antidepressants, due to having lost custody of his daughter. This just happened in the last few minutes. It is an open FB group so i'm not violating privacy by saying his name is Tristan and he lives in the UK, in Sheffield. Other people following this have contacted the police and the University. All I can do is pray, and I'd like to ask for prayers that he will be found in time.

One of our relatives, who is pregnant with 2 babies, may loose both of them today. The mother and grandmother are very distraught and hurrying to be with her and the father.

Praying through.
Thanks for your prayers for my staff meeting yesterday. I can't say it was enjoyable and he tried to pull the wool over my eyes, which is annoying. Howver, we had a satisfactory conclusion (for me) and I was well supported by HR.

Please pray for D. He has been so relentlessly bullied at work that he has resigned. However he has to struggle on for another 6 weeks. His self esteem has been eroded, his confidence battered and it's affecting his health.

Update:
One of the twins went home to be in Jesus's gentle arms, while the other twin was delivered but is only 11 pounds and fighting for his life. Mom and Grandma on way to the hospital now.
The family is upset, but trusting that God is hearing our prayers.

May I beg your prayers for our Electoral Synod, which meets on Friday and Saturday to elect a new Bishop? And in particular that they elect the Archdeacon (who'd make a good bishop), so that we don't lose the Dean (who doesn't want to be a bishop anyway)?
