Happy St David's Day!

If you have celebrations planned, enjoy - it looks like being a beautiful day for them.

Mae'r cennin Pedr allan ac mae'r haul yn tywynnu! (the daffodils are out and the sun is shining - or at least is was when I meant to post this).

Happy St David's Day.

Yes, a lovely sunny day in London - and I wore my daffodil to church (and will again, tomorrow and throughout March - it's a Fair Trade crochet one, so quite hardy). I was also the happy recipient of a wonderful box of daffodils from the Isles of Scilly, and some yellow button earrings which, if I use my imagination, I can claim are daffodils!

I didn't have any daffodils for Saturday - and then after church yesterday my friend gave me some she had cut from her garden for me (I don't have an outside to grow my own in). So now they are in a vase brightening up the living room! Yay for daffs. Perhaps I should make her some cawl cennin (leek soup) in return...
