ASAIK, the phrase "ever-blessed Virgin Mary" is a TEC creation.
Does anyone include this phrase without "virgin"?
I do think that I've heard "Mary, the mother of Jesus," somewhere. The phrase does strike me as Anglican/Episcopalian middle of the road -- not offensively "Marian," nor so Protestant that it leaves her out.

And Nestorian-friendly, to boot!

At least a couple of TEC places of my experience use the "ever-blessed Virgin Mary", adding to it, "Mother of God", hence, "ever-blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God".

I've heard this a few times during Evensongs in the the Diocese of Long Island and no one has flinched. I was a bit rattled the first time as I'm not entirely convinced that the Biblical references to Jesus' brothers mean something other than real (biological) brothers, but given it isn't a matter of dogma (in the TEC at least) I shrugged it off.
