Well the first part is Jen, the second part is a hard g followed by the diminutive ending that is spelt either 'ie' or 'y'.

I may have got the spelling slight unusual as the fact remain it depends on a mispronunciation of Jenny-John where an extra j/g sound got into the mix. Maybe beccause my parents could not decide whether I was Jen-John or Jenny-John so sort of starting the John and then reverting. Or it might be that in actual fact they included my real first name in which case it should be JenJea Jon but a "j" in the middle looks wrong so I use a G instead Jenjea or perhaps Jenjee

Happy Birthday, Tubbs!

Going against the trend somewhat by taking up a new name that's not related to my real-life name, here's my latest attempt at being down with the cool kids.

Happy Birthday, Tubbs!

Think I'm typecast now, so I've decided to stay put, despite some previous creative blandishments from "Uncle Pete". But some lovely changes there and in particular it's nice to see "Callan" back. Got me all nostalgic that did.

Wodders is a very naughty boy, definitely not the Messiah. Plus he's much nearer to a letter from HMQ than you are. Why don't you change to Wodders, Wodders?

Having matured (or perhaps demented) since joining the Ship some 8 years ago, I've decided to put my more upbeat youth behind me and drop the rebellious adjunct to my screen name.

I've actually been meaning to do this for more than four years now, but keep missing the name amnesties.

Now all I need to do is get round to fixing my avatar which still hasn't decided whether it's a study in pained neutrality or an inverted good-doer.

Also Pomona is the name of a city in California, home of a state polytechnic university that designs and builds a usually whimsical Rose Parade float in concert with its sister polytechnic in San Luis Obispo every year.

Please please Martin put your old name in your sig. Otherwise people will get confused.

The thread in the Styx asked for people to post name changes on here and the same request is also in the OP of this thread as well. That's as well as adding the bit in your sig, etc.

I am almost tempted to change my name to something from Hogwarts. Why is no one claiming Ravenclaw or Slytherin? But, I'm afraid to. I really am, in essence, The 5th Mary in my "real" family and it makes me happy to use it. I'll have to think on this. I went from "Paddy O'Furniture" to The 5th Mary and I just don't want to change my Ship name every other year...
