Please pray for D, who died this afternoon after a decline over the last six months, and for his widow and family. D will be very much missed in our parish, where he and his widow have made great contribution over many years.
May D rest in peace and be raised to the glory of our risen Lord.

Praying for everyone's intentions.
Could I ask for prayers for a tricky work situation? I work in a team of three and the team leader is in many ways a pain in the arse whose decisions I don't always agree with. However her heart is in the right place and since she's taken over the role she's developed the service in interesting ways. The other team member is sneakily trying to undermine her and although I agree with a lot of her points I'm not happy with the way she's going about it. I feel trapped in the middle between them and I don't deal with conflict well ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

I am still reeling from my visit to Turkana last weekend.
Almost a year of drought means that famine has now returned.
So much need and not enough resources.
I'm furious with helplessness!
Please pray for government and NGO rapid intervention.
And that the poor beleagured church there finds the strength to continue to love, even though they too are suffering horrendously.

Little Miss M was readmitted to hospital last night with a high temperature. It will be 48 hours before we find out if this is yet another infection or one of the side effects of this second round of chemo.
Son has gone off to work prepared to spend weekend in hospital.

Stress (combination of personal wedding stress and work stress over a process I was recently taught, have been doing a lot of, and feel completely overwhelmed by as it is Just. Too. Hard.) still has me totally off kilter.
Barely sleeping and perpetually tearful. Today going to approach manager for second time this week, to say I need either more training or to be given other tasks. Frustrating thing is that the process is being replaced in three weeks time. It has all hit at once and I just can't cope.

Pray for T, the father in my Godfamily. His brother rang to say he has been arrested tonight. I do not know why nor do I think does his brother but this means that people need to know more than T has been telling.
T will be out of his depth whatever the truth of the situation.

Thank you all for praying. Friday night she was very ill indeed. Lots of visits through the night by doctors and senior doctors. Antibiotic has been changed while they wait for full test results too come through. She was very lethargic yesterday but was better after yet another transfusion and a glass of p[nk milk.
I think she'll be back in hospital longer than the mandatory seven days this time.
