Please pray for S, having a hard time at work and in potential danger of losing his job.
Edit to add, this is the same S I asked for prayers for awhile ago, for emotional stress. This is a different issue, he's going through a real rough patch right now.

I've just heard the sad news that N, one of the wisest and kindest people I have ever met died in an accident yesterday. He will be sorely missed by all who lnew and loved him.
I hadn't seen so much of him in recent years and it's making me realise the importance of keeping in contact with those who mean a lot to us.

Please pray for my friends and local community who have taken a stand to prevent coal seam gas mining getting a hold in our region. Tonight 2,000 people are camped at the proposed drill site expecting 200 police to arrive early in the morning to try to force the entry of equipment. May peace and non-violence prevail.

Ginny is out of the hospital and in rehab. It's not going well.
In the hospital, the pain control was very good; right now it's bad. She is extremely weak, and I don't think they can do much therapy.
She can't distract herself with reading or television because both her eyesight and her hearing are poor.
A few weeks before she broke her hip, she said that she was ready to die.
Please pray for peace and pain relief for her.

A young woman was found murdered in the boot (trunk) of her car in the supermarket carpark. The police believe the perpetrator was known to her.
Please pray for her and her family.
It's a small, friendly suburban supermarket and the workers are also distressed as they know many of the customers by name.

I just got an e-mail with bad news about some friends. quote:
...Debby, Bob and her mom were in a terrible car accident yesterday following Debby's mom's 95th birthday party.
They were able to get out and away from the car before it exploded. Debby and Bob are banged up… maybe a broken rib or two. I don't know about her mom, more than that she coded last night at the hospital. They are in Georgia. Please pray for them…healing for body, mind and spirit.

I ask your prayers for a group which is about to be in a world of hurt as I tear the bandaid off. I ask your prayers for the people, both priests and laypeople, who are helping us. I ask your prayers for me, who is already in a world of hurt (yes, I'm already thinking about how to find the pastoral counseling that I am going to need in abundance as I work through recovering from the spiritual lies). I ask your prayers for the person who is about to get an abrupt awakening. I ask your prayers that leadership can find a way to contain, minimize, or please God completely prevent anyone from experiencing future harm of this sort.

Prayers for all above.
I ask prayers for husband and I as we are selling our home and down sizing. It is the wise thing to do at our age but Mr Image is having a hard time with showing the house and thinking of preparing to move. Knowing it is the best for us does not make it any easier to leave friends and home we love even if it is more work then we enjoy at this point. Prayers that sale will happen quickly and a new home found that we like, so we can move without any great stress.

And please continue to pray that I can make the right decisions about my church situation. I had a long talk to one of the clergy on Sunday and he made a suggestion which after thinking about it I thought was a way forward - but now I'm not so sure and I seem to have volunteered to do something I don't really want to do. I don't know whether I should do it anyway or try to explain that it wasn't really what I meant...
Sorry, that's not very coherent. I'm getting myself into a real state tonight and can't think straight. Please pray that after a night's sleep I'll be able to see things more clearly.
