Today's the big day for R - scheduled to go into theatre at 4 pm. I have just had an SMS that he has had a full body shave in preparation for the op - he's a hairy guy so that may have taken a while! The family have asked once again that I put a prayer request on here.

R has survived the operation, they eventually did a double bypass, and is now in Recovery then will be moved to cardiac ICU tomorrow, we hope.

The family asks for prayers to continue as there is still a way to go.

Thanks.

A request for prayer: tomorrow morning I see a new class, made up of my crazy bottom set and assorted other kids my line manager has seen fit to punt towards me.

Please pray for the new kids who might not care to be in the same room as some of my wee souls. [Votive]

Please pray for my wee souls, who get themselves upside down at every opportunity (eg. pigeon flies past window; someone looks at them, funnily or otherwise). [Votive]

Please pray for their teacher to succeed in surfing the waves of crazy. [Votive]

(If there are waves, that means they have all blended together and are full of dynamic wonderous wave energy... that would be good!)

Please pray for C, a 15 year old boy, and his family. He had one of the childhood cancers, unknown just which one, and shared a room with Miss M at hospital a few weeks ago. He died a couple of days ago, which hits home for us too, although Miss M is making progress.

His family have had it tough. His Mum's first husband committed suicide, her second died of cancer a couple of years ago and now her son. Now just her young daughter and herself.

[Votive] for all in need, especially WW's R, Ethne Alba's mum, LC and her god-daughter and the soul of C. and all who mourn him.

Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him.

May I ask your prayers for my friend J., who's going through scary health and redundancy issues?

Continued prayers for R. My creatine levels spiked after my chemo, and it took 10 years to get them down to acceptable levels.

In other news, today the merry-go-round begins again with a day surgery biopsy. I hope it will be a short round of doctors this time, but who knows?

Prayers would be appreciated.
