So much sorrow and worry.
I mentioned upthread about a friend's son who had been taken ill whilst travelling and was too ill to be flown home. Arriving back in the UK at last, he has just been diagnosed with leukaemia. Please pray for him and his family. Amongst my friends and colleagues over the last month there's been the death of a child, a baby stillborn, a friend's son arrested, a friend in intensive care for a fortnight unable to breath, not to mention our own small share of stresses to cope with. Please pray for all those affected, whether directly or indirectly.
-------------------- Miss you, Erin.

Huia.
This lot of chemo is knocking Miss M around and she is quite miserable. Another six weeks or so of it before she will hopefully be on a maintenance dose. Prayer appreciated for her.

Cb's father in law has died, quite suddenly, at a reasonably young age. Tensions abound in that family. Funeral is Thursday. for peace and reconciliation. Also for I, a F/friend, suddenly unwell and confused , and for A, a work colleague fading fast. Lord, hear our prayers.

Remember J & J who I asked prayer for at Christmas. Well J was making a slow recovery and getting back to more of himself, until just over a week ago. Then he was rushed into hospital with a gall bladder infection. I only heard yesterday. He may be out today, but will need a further operation.
So if you could keep J & J (his wife) in your prayers.

This (hopefully) final bout of intensive chemo is really knocking Miss M around and she is quite miserable at times. Also back in a wheelchair when out of the house as joint pain from leukaemia is intensified with this chemo. Shadow of chemo induced diabetes is again hovering over her.

One of my cats, Bjorn, is sick. How sick I do not know. I am hoping it's just a catty tummy ache and he'll be better tomorrow, but I'm very afraid it's a recurrence of the urinary blockage he had some years ago. If it is it will be very expensive to treat, more than I can afford, and I'll have to ask my daughter to let me use her medical credit card and pay her back monthly. Please pray that he's only a little sick and gets better on his own. If he isn't better tomorrow he goes to the vet Tuesday.

Prayers for wisdom appreciated. Without going into too many details, a visiting preacher crossed a line and I ended up walking out of church yesterday. Having been going for a year and been relatively settled, it was quite upsetting to be compelled to walk out. Am considering writing to the church leadership, but given it was a visitor it may be better to let it pass by, though it gives me nagging doubts over the judgement of those who invited him.

Tomorrow I'm driving by myself from here to Calais - a distance of quite a lot of kilometres (and 7 hours driving). I did it last year, with no problems, but this year I'm cutting the distance/time by going a route that takes me nearish to Paris and through a long tunnel. It's not a route I'm very familiar with and I don't have GPS, only good old printouts of the route and a road atlas.
Please pray that I don't go wrong. And if I do that I don't panic and can find my way without too many difficulties. Mr D says it's all a matter of common sense - but I don't have too much of that!!
