Many a true word spoken in jest - RA, you're a genius! Perhaps holding them under an infra-red lamp for a while might do wonders! I have been taking excellent Ayurvedic tablets for them for the last few years but I might need to up the dosage.

Raptor Eye posted this elsewhere so, as I have now closed that thread, I am bringing this post here so that all may see it.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayers.

In about 12 hours I am having my kidney stones blasted and a stent removed. I am thinking that when I wake up, I may have some considerable pain, as when they put the stent in, I was in sincere 10 out of 10 and-I'm-not-fooling misery. Prayers appreciated! Bless you all.

I and my family are trying to resolve an ongoing noisy neighbour situation (serious disturbances on and off for the last four years), which unfortunately shows little sign of abating and is seriously affecting the sleep and health of elderly neighbours, including my immediate family.

I'm so sorry. May they be comforted in their grief. I know what it's like to lose a baby (two actually). May the child's memory be eternal.

Prayers would be appreciated for us tomorrow please. We are getting furniture delivered from storage to our new flat and I am not sure exactly what is going to turn up or whether there is enough space for it all among the piles of boxes. It has the potential to be a very stressful day - not helped by the fact that we have to get up rather earlier than usual. ![[Help]](graemlins/help.gif)

I have terrible toothache and I'm really scared by visits to the dentist. We're due back in the UK on leave in three weeks time when I can see my trusted dentist but I won't be able to cope with this level of pain till then. So I will have to visit an unknown dentist here in Kenya and I'm really anxious.

Work is pretty awful for me st the moment. I finally felt I had to say something to managers about some colleagues bad behaviour a couple of weeks back so now of course nobody is speaking to me. I knew it would happen but I didn't anticipate it being quite *this*bad. I was successful in application for a secondment last week and in an office of 20 I have had only three well dones other than from management. Particularly hurt as the lady who has been on holiday gog back yesterday (she was annoyed by the bad behaviour too, and is no buddy of those people who were responsible) and even she has not said anything about the secondment. It is rubbish to feel so hated, although I know I deserve a bit of it, I think they are taking it a bit far at this stage.
I'm not sleeping properly and I'm dreading every day, even though I love my actual job.
Mr Shrew's father's funeral is tomorrow. I'm nervous as anything and struggling to support Mr Shrew.
Please pray for some emotional resilience for the week.

for all in need, especially Mrs. Shrew and Mrs. Beaky (there are few things in life worse than bad colleagues and toothache).
Also for the soul of NEQ's friend, and for comfort for his congregation.
Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him.

Many thanks for your prayers! It all went splendidly. Everything I expected turned up (including the T-shirts I was looking for last summer. It turns out I AM stupid enough to have put then in storage by mistake ). Things are rather chaotic, but our new bathroom is large enough to be a lumber room!

A lot of stuff is happening at the moment, all basically good, but more than enough to leave me feeling very scared. Hanging on to 2 Timothy 1.7: "God did not give us a spirit of fear, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-control".

A bear was killed illeagally, and buried to hide the evidence. He was not endangering anyone. The people who did this are dangerous to have as enemies. In this state, killing big game out of season and wasting the meat is a big offense, with lots of prison time involved. People reported to my mom asking her to follow up because they are afraid of the perpetrators. Mom has reported everything and is putting herself out there. I'm very proud of her but it's risky and we're all preparing to circle the wagons. So a prayer for my mother and also Trooper K who will be at risk investigating would be welcome, as well as a prayer that justice be served.
And please, a prayer of peace for the soul of Big Boy, who was an awesome and beautiful guy who managed to live for years among people and never come to trouble. We're all going to miss him a lot.
