Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.
Also praying for my Mother-in-Law, who's struggling to cope with living alone, 15 months after her partner died. She's just been prescribed anti-depressants and has a history of depression, which at one time was addressed with electric shock therapy. We both live 30 miles away and work full time, so are limited as to how much we can do.
Also J, a member of my church, who has just been given a date for the trial of her son's murderer, and is having to arrange care for an elderly aunt.

For my boss and his family. He's having to fly to his home country on Monday because his dad is really sick, possibly dying. Yesterday his daughter was hospitalised with complications of anorexia (only diagnosed this week). Not surprisingly, he is beside himself with worry in both directions.

For D, my stepfather, who passed away this morning, and especially for my mother, who is not coping well.
D was not a bad guy, but I was not close to him, his death was not a surprise, and my main concern is how Mum is coping. I don't want to to sound ungrateful when people offer condolences, I have to keep reminding myself to just say "thank you" and not worry about explaining the relationship. So I guess I need prayers mainly for the wisdom to keep my foot out of my mouth.

Please pray for Gilles, my nieces' maternal uncle, as he fights an aggressive case of flesh eating disease, which has already spread from his left knee up to his groin and down to his ankle.

His kidney (he was born with only one) is not working. He is intubated and in semi-coma. Drug cocktails on Wed have the bacteria in abeyance at the moment. Guarded diagnosis.

I have more info on the situation with "my" 11 year-old (V) and his divorced parents. Dad has moved in with a lady who he's got pregnant, she's due to give birth to a little girl any day now, from what I've heard. She already has an autistic child who must be about V's age, who goes to his school, from what I've gathered.
Prayers for all involved would be great, as it strikes me as being a great big bloody emotional mess which could hurt V a lot. He really takes things to heart and takes the weight of the world on his shoulders. His mum gave up work this year but now has to get a new job, so prayers that she finds something & is able to make a fresh start would be great.
