Please pray for my sis-- also known as Alvissimo, although she never posts-- as she has an appointment tomorrow to schedule a much needed, major abdominal surgery. In her words, her panic at the thought of the procedure is as much trouble as the condition itself.
Praying for her health and peace, and for skilled, soothing doctors to be on the case.

I've had a really bad few weeks but there are small signs that things are improving. Prayers that this will continue would be appreciated. Thank you.

Just as my parents' lives were starting to get back to some stability Mum has fallen again and they have had to call the ambulance to get her back on her feet.
So now she is going into hospital (A&E). Dad is not calling for any help at present and just hope they find nothing and send them home (in a taxi) to sleep off the latest adventure!
Please pray for calm for all of us. We are a family of panickers!

And for friends who will support/ encourage/ cheer on.
We've been here before, but this time matters have reached a point of no return. Your prayers as things get worse, before they can begin to get better. Many thanks.

About to start a chore that eats up my free time, and is likely to end in failure regardless of how well I do it.
Not surprisingly, I don't wanna do it.
Please help me do it, do it well, and somehow against the odds get it to succeed.
Also in the immediate term, please help me find my motivation and feel better about it all.

Just to say that Mum and Dad both got home at 2:00 a.m. this morning from hospital with Mum maybe having some bruises but has not exacerbated her hip.
Thanks for the prayers.

Hugs and prayers for all.
In addition to prayers re T & D's situation, they were in a roadway accident today, and while I think they will be OK (T is on crutches and D looks banged up but less so, I think), well, yikes, they really don't need this right now.
Please also pray for Stephen: He recently lost his mum, and on top of that the hard drive which had all the pics he had taken of her before she passed has just bitten the big one. (He's looking into ways to get the data out of it if possible but they all seem unaffordably expensive.)

I would appreciate your prayers, please. I need to approach my manager to ask for a stress assessment. My GP has agreed that I'm suffering from workplace stress and referred me to a counselling provider. I've been trying to tell my manager for the past year that I'm overworked, but to no avail. He argues the toss when I ask to be treated in accordance with the agreed HR procedures and I know that he will want to dissuade me from bringing my union rep to the review. TBH the thought of having to talk to him about anything is making me feel physically sick.
