Nephew E. shot himself and his girlfriend four years ago yesterday. Prayers for the parents and family, particularly his sister J. and his 3 year - younger uncle ( who you know as Neph.) They were all best friends.

Please pray, I've bust my stitches and have a gaping wound that can't be re stitched and I have to wait up to 3 weeks for it to heal. Getting in and out of chairs/beds etc is very painful and resting is difficult to do with a newborn. Luckily I have people over for the next few weeks otherwise it would be hellish.

Today, I need to arrange a meeting with my manager and union rep to discuss my stress levels. Over the past year, I've been left to struggle with a huge workload and it's wearing me down. my manager has belatedly realised he might be held accountable, so he's started doing a few little things to help me, but it's really too little, too late. He makes unrealistic demands, such as saying that it's my fault he didn't carry out actions because I didn't chase him(!) I feel sick just thinking about this, because I know he will challenge me about why I want the union rep there. It's on the fine line between overwork and bullying and it needs to stop because I refuse to let the bastard make me ill. ![[Help]](graemlins/help.gif)
