Would you please pray for my parents, Mum's mental capacity has deteriorated suddenly today and Dad is finding it difficult. She occassionally has been like this when tired before but there is no apparent reason today.
So a good nights sleep for my parents please.

Just general anxiety. Elevated at the moment as I am about to take TWO children, both with invisible disabilities, to church at the same place where three members had hissy fits because of my son's mild squirminess. (There's the possibility I could wind up taking FOUR there in the near future, only one of them neurotypical--and he's the three year old.) God has a sense of humor.

Thanks for the prayers, Mum is as back to herself as she ever is. She has dementia and she is very good at making sense of things up as she goes along, so what she says does not always fit with reality anyway but you can normally guess why she is thinking that.

Good news Jengie. It's worth remembering that a bladder infection can have very nasty results in elderly women apart from the obvious ones. Mum was hospitalised twice, delirious. Both times were from that infection. I know of others who have had surprising side effects from such an infection.

Thank you for the prayers.

Well, we survived all right, and the child-dislikers said nothing, but I could feel the glares. (The second kid was five times as squirmy as mine. Suck it up and deal, folks.) The pastor was very pointed about welcoming "our visitors." Next week there may be three with me, the youngest only three years old; and a month from now possibly four--only the three year old seems to be entirely neurologically normal. I suspect the Lord has chosen to deal with the congregation's, uh, issue in spades right now. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
