Continuing to pray for all here
And if I could ask for prayers for me please? Christmas is nearly always a difficult time for me but this year I'm feeling a great deal better than I usually do (probably, I think due to the anti-depressants I have been taking for the last few months) But I'm having a few medical issues again. Only minor (well, I think they are) but getting me down a bit [ 24. December 2014, 13:04: Message edited by: Abigail ]

Of your mercy, please pray for my niece's partner, D., whose mother has died unexpectedly. She was very recently diagnosed with inoperable cancer and was given several months to live; it turned out to be weeks. My elder niece lost her mother-in-law earlier this year, for the same reason. I know this is not very Christmassy, but FUCK CANCER.
Prayers for all who are feeling sorrow, loneliness or fear this Christmas.

Please pray for Mr.Lamb? And for a family he's caring for. He missed Christmas eve service (not one he was responsible for, thank God) tonight because of a death in a Buddhist family. The man who died, however, was baptized. Mr. Lamb is helping them make arrangements etc. and will miss all but the obligatory father/pastor bits of Christmas tomorrow.

Adding that it was an easy and blessed death--they had just got him home from the hospital, into his own bed, and he died quietly while Mr. Lamb was patting his cheek to ask him a question about his care.

Praying for all here
and giving thanks that I'm having a much better Christmas than I expected.
Had a lovely Boxing Day walk today with absolutely no back pain Now just need to get rid of the almost continuous headaches I'm getting. Prayer for that would be much appreciated.

For my friend J, too far away for me to be able to see as often as I'd like and without friends where she lives.
In the depths at the moment: her church 'friends' are just that - people she sees at church who don't contact from one week to the next.
I'm amazed her PP can see how profoundly sad and lonely she is.

We had a family funeral last week, when the temperature was around freezing. The church was cold and the graveside colder. Since then my mother, my uncle and two of Mum's cousins have come down with bad colds / chest infections / pneumonia sufficiently severe to have warranted home visits from their respective doctors. Today I heard of another two sick relatives; there may be more as there were about 20 octogenarians at the funeral. Prayers would be appreciated.

Praying through, for all, by name.
For the Lambs
for cats
It was a good Christmas in that the Pater was (and is - he heads home in the morning) here; it was a bad Christmas in that my children punished me for not inviting my ex-husband to Christmas dinner with small calculated cruelties. The radiation treatments have also caught up with me. I'm nearing their end, though. Thank you, all who are praying with me. It makes a difference.

Holding us all in the living, loving Light - especially today my friend John who has had to give up the job he loved in Italy and return here as his [arthritic?] knees just were not able to sustain the work. I am off to see him today but am sure he could do with some prayer and upholding.
