I have a meeting with senior management tomorrow at work to discuss a situation that has caused me enormous stress, made me very unwell and has caused me to raise my first grievance in more than a decade in the job. I'm very scared about the meeting but I also desperately need to either resolve the situation or sort out in my head that a bit of gird loining and discussions of employment tribunals will be required. Please pray for the first result.

It's been a bad morning. I learned that a friend had died unexpectedly - she was only about 50.
And this was just after I came through the train station to find the parking lot full of fire engines and police cars -- there'd been another death on the tracks. It just makes my heart ache.
Watching and hearing the news ghouls hovering overhead didn't help my mood any, either.

For R. to be comforted in a recent loss. To succeed at a particular project.
For G.'s son S. who is easily led. He went to Pakistan on a trip with a 'friend' who is now back in the UK. Meanwhile S. is still detained in Pakistan with all the blame attached to him. S. already has a record for similar offences so his chances aren't good, and G. Is beside herself, while S. minor is distraught and off school. All anyone has told G. Is to contact the home office. If anyone has any suggestions or advice that I could possibly pass on to G. to help her gain more control of the situation, a PM would be most appreciated.

Today, my husband admitted to me that he had recently considered leaving me and had been infatuated (but not involved) with someone else, but said that if I am willing to keep him, he will stay and work on our marriage. I am stunned; I thought we were fine and had a good relationship. Please pray for both of us, because I love him desperately and I don't want my marriage to fall apart.
