A pointless question in so many ways as you can't - I can't either. But, if I were to do it all again, I would do it so differently, very very differently.
And I know, here I am despite what has gone on before and perhaps largely because of what has gone before. Regardless, I would do it differently if I could and one way would be to wipe out the christianity slant that overshadowed much of my teens, twenties and thirties. I suspect I would have had it harder along the way but it would just have been a different peer group that I would have struggled to fit in with and a structure to give me reason and purpose.
I need to think about this a bit more as it is not simple or straightforward and too many ifs and buts, but I'm wondering what would have become of Beenster had it not been for the church. I suspect much much happier!
What about you?

Beenster - I agree.
I would do everything differently. My life would have looked so different. And yes, I would have been happier, I think.
