The Blue Ax
Pretentious art film about a WWI fighter pilot whose plane crashes, leaving him stranded behind enemy lines, far from home and unarmed. The only weapon he can find is a child's toy hatchet, which is completely useless for anything practical, but becomes a powerful and at times ambivalent symbol for his own lost childhood etc etc.

re: "Hairpray": Part of the group's paraphernalia is many large poster/banners featuring Jesus portraits with Him sporting hair styles such as the pony tail, the crew cut, the flat top, the shave, the mullet and various spikey and goth looks.
He does retain the classic white nightgown though, so He will be recognized without his long wavy warm-chestnut colored hairdo.
Warning: this film may be too shocking for children and the elderly.

Carry on Creaming – a West Country farmer (Kenneth Williams) is hit hard by the fall in wholesale milk prices and thinks seriously of selling up. A local organic retailer (Hattie Jacques) encourages him to diversify into Clotted Cream; at first this venture seems doomed to failure but, at the eleventh hour, he secures a Royal Warrant to supply the Duke of Cornwall (Sid James) and business booms. There is, of course, a lot of naughtiness in the milking sheds! [ 11. November 2014, 16:06: Message edited by: Baptist Trainfan ]
