Me, my elf and Irene

Tacky comedy about Charlie, whose only friend in life is an imaginary elf (think Harvey, only without the quality). That is, until he meets Irene who commits him to a mental hospital, because he is clearly not in touch with reality.

The Four Fathers
A remake of a remake of a remake....

In Victorian Britain, a young man is horrified to discover that her mother was such a wanton trollop that she could have been made pregnant by up to four different men. In an age before DNA and paternity testing, he decides to regard all four equally as his father. Unfortunately for him, all four then get killed on the same day at the siege of Khartoum.

Victor Victor

1975 film by Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer, with James Garner in the lead double role. A musical gender non-bender, which might be why it turned out to be a formidable flop. After much deliberation and soul-searching at MGM, somebody had a brainwave, and it was decided on a 1982 remake, introducing Julie Andrews as well as adapting the film title, which promptly resulted in a box office hit.
