Jumps up and down squeaking. I've got three (three!) presents and a lovely homemade card from France. The presents will wait until Christmas Day, the card is sitting on my mantlepiece now. Thank you, that's made me very happy. ![[Axe murder]](graemlins/lovedrops.gif)

Given that my life has been rather chaotic for the last few months, I reluctantly decided to forego Secret Santa this year. So imagine my surprise when a rather battered-looking packet with a Royal Mail sticker appeared in my mailbox. Inside was a sparkly hand-decorated box containing two lovely homemade decorations which are now on the tree, safely out of kitty range.
I'm thinking this may be my long-lost parcel from last year's exchange. No idea how it got to me, but I couldn't be more delighted. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to the generous giver. ![[Axe murder]](graemlins/lovedrops.gif)

A package arrived from County Cork yesterday. I'm not the patient sort, so I opened it. Chocolates and a lovely ornament, all from the Cork area. I haven't tried any of the chocolate yet, though, I'm saving it... Thank you, Santa!
So I finally got myself to the post office today and sent out my package. Hope my Santee likes it!

Bought something very suitable. Lost it. Bought several lots of edibles to go with it. Ate them.
Have now gone and found something else suitable (and vaguely related...) and yet more edibles, and am now going to wrap them quickly. Before I eat/lose said items again. And then flag down a passing reindeer.
(And what's the betting that I find the first item in January?)

Eeeeeeee! I had a wonderful surprise when I got home from work to a parcel, postmarked from Aberdeen or thereabouts! Inside were two beautifully wrapped parcels, which I am somehow managing to resist and a beautiful card which has taken pride of place on our shelves.
Thank you Santa!

Santa has arrived and dropped off a parcel. I am not one for deferred gratification, so have already opened it.
There is a elephant embossed tea caddy, very eastern, in lovely deep colours. It contained a key ring/mini torch in bright colours, with my name on it, and a lovely book mark, in the form of a cartoon lion head, and a big clip.
All very much appreciated, and very much to my taste.
Thank you, Santa!

Santa has delivered me a parcel! It is waiting for The Day - very early in the day, I always open my Santa parcel when I get back from Midnight Mass
My parcel will go our first thing Monday - slightly later than planned I'm afraid having lost almost a week to the lurgy, the elves have quite a short journey to make though, so I'm hopeful it will arrive in time.

Many thanks to my Secret Santa - a lovely gift (in funky reindeer wrapping paper) arrived yesterday. I'll save the chocolate for Christmas Day but will be enjoying the book over the next few days. Thank you so much!
To my gift recipient - I'm almost certain that I signed my name, rather than Secret Santa. Ooops I posted the parcel earlier this week, which should be in good time for Christmas. Hope it arrives soon...

An Amazon parcel arrived today addressed to Rose Sharon - must be from my Secret Santa I opened the outer box, but the contents (another box) do not appear to be gift wrapped, so I sealed it up again before I could read what it is, and put it under the tree. I will post my proper thanks after Christmas, but wanted to let Secret Santa know it has arrived safely.
I'm a bit concerned that the gift I posted in plenty of time does not seem to have reached it's destination yet.

I have opened the card (thank you [not so] Secret Santa), and I'll open the present tomorrow (I'm off up to my Mother's house for Christmas tomorrow afternoon, so I'm having my home Christmas early ), and proper thanks will be posted then.
Thank you - exciting ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

We are leaving tomorrow for the hinterlands, so opened presents today. And how lovely! I have a star-shaped box of sweets, and a large ball of sock yarns in raspberry hues! I will have to knit this into something lovely, and I will wear them when it is cold and wool socks are important!
