Praying for all, but especially Smudgie. Dear God would you let her please just have a break?
I'd appreciate prayer for me - I finished my job at the end of last week, and was supposed to be starting my new one this week. But, paperwork cock-ups. So I still don't have a start date, and having braced myself for a week unpaid it is looking like it will be longer than that. Which isn't the end of the world, I have plenty of things to be getting on with, but I can't be unpaid for too long with financial commitments, especially as the new job is quite a bit lower paid than the old one. Also, I am getting my flat ready to rent out, as it spent months on the market last year not selling, and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the scary things I have to do (talk to banks, insurance, etc), and the initial costs (which probably wouldn't be so stressful if I knew when my job was going to start).

For non-UK shipmates: Becky was a teenage girl who went missing from the city of Bristol on 20th February; the police have just broken the news to her family that body parts have been discovered, although no formal identification has yet been made.

An urgent request:
We have a consignment of second hand wheelchairs which have been sent to us from the UK.
They are at the docks, waiting to clear customs and we have hit what is a common problem here- "requests" for money far and away above what we should be paying.
Horribly stressful and fairly upsetting.
Please pray for a swift resolution so that we can receive the consignment and help some of the most marginalised people in society here.

for K and sibling, recently taken into foster care. K doesn't have much speech, but from behaviour and the speech K does have it's clear that K's head is full of memories and worries nobody so little should have to deal with.

Please, for Mr.Lamb. His day job involves elder care. A patient and friend has just died of complications from a surgery that should have been safe (to prevent impending blindness), and he feels responsible because he helped persuade her to have it (at the request of the doctors etc, yes, but he blames himself).

I am a day late and a dollar short. Desperately need to have already filed the grant application, but I've never done one of these before AND I have to spend as much time as possible between now and Tuesday morning, doing the other thing I desperately need to have been doing.

Thank you for praying for Mr Lamb--can I add one more thing? Just got word from him 5 minutes ago that D (member of our community we've known a long time) has been in a car accident and just taken to the hospital--no word on condition. He's heading there now.
