Thank you all - we both survived the day. The Dowager's consultant was super and she had a load of tests; now we need to hear the results and his deductions.
Thank you again!

Reading and praying
Please pray for Miss B, who has a difficult family situation. At the weekend, she was on the receiving end of cruel words from someone who should have been kind to her. She also hurt her hand quite badly. Dealing with this on top of being fifteen isn't easy.
Blessings on Miss D, dealing with her own stuff, but still able to lend her friend an understanding ear. ![[Votive]](graemlins/votive.gif) [ 23. March 2015, 19:39: Message edited by: Mad Cat ]

Good news: Tiny but cancerous spots in my lungs have mysteriously gone away. The docs are unsure of the reasons for this, but I have my theories. In fact, I have my certainties. Deo gratias.
Other news: I'm having an upper endoscopy in the morning, because there's some Stuff going on. I am praying that it is not Barrett's Esophagus, because I'm not sure I could deal with that. Any and all prayers would be greatly appreciated.

S, that I mentioned in my post above, is in worse shape than I thought. It's not just depression, it's other stuff being worsened by the depression, or vice versa. Please pray for him to have the ability to seek help, and accept it. Right now he knows he needs help but is having difficulty in seeking it out.
Prayers for all here. ![[Votive]](graemlins/votive.gif)

I'm currently in a phase of hypomania which is making me exhausted and lacking in concentration and has unfortunately hit when I have a huge pile of work to do. If I can get through the next couple of days effectively I can take a few days off to rest but I especially need some concentration skills to get through a huge stack of marking. Many thanks Annie

Please could you pray for a colleague of mine called J. His wife died almost two years ago and we all thought that he was struggling a bit but was almost coping. However something happened yesterday which has shown that he really isn't coping at all. Please pray that he finds a way to cope with being on his own without the incredible loneliness he is clearly feeling.

Prayer would be appreciated here. I have been unusually headache-y for the past couple of days and I fear it is a sign that I really should go to an optician, but our finances are rather precarious and I really cannot afford new glasses right now
Slightly less selfishly, please pray that the information coming out of Germany leads to improved awareness of mental health issues in a helpful way and does not increase the stigma.

Still waiting on job news.
Have been struggling with depression but I think I'm better now.
Please keep praying for David, a friend who is still in jail (he went right from one jail for driving without a license into another for missing a court appearance--meanwhile, as a result, unable to work to get the money together to pay child support ), and Thomas, a friend suffering from horrible depression.
