I need some prayer support - so much going on, and I want to shut down.
I'm trying to resolve a healthcare issue that is keeping me from filing my taxes (I'm due a refund, which I desperately need).
I've lost my cellphone and can't afford a new one, which is impeding my job search.
Oh, yeah, I need a job.
And my car's acting up. That should also be a problem for getting to any interviews (hah! Like that'll happen) or to work till a paycheck comes in.
I'm feeling like such a drain on everyone around me. Especially my roommate, who is bothered with money problems and depression, and yet has to feed me, and I can't contribute anything to the household expenses. I'm really grateful for her, and I try to do what I can around the house, but I know it's rough.
If God doesn't give a crap about me, couldn't he at least take pity on my roommate?

Please say a prayer for the success of a personal need. I was rear-ended today when I stopped at a red light, the chap behind me was going to fast and not paying attention to the fact the traffic wasn't moving, and pushed me right into the crossroads. Myself and a passenger are feeling the after-affects, and the fellow that hit us was upset and overly-apologetic. He needs a prayer more than I!
Meanwhile, praying for ye all!

Pursuant to my last prayer request-- the stresses of the last week have sent home to me that my years of relative solitude have resulted in my developing some extraordinarily unhelpful thinking habits-- particularly in regards to past trauma and self criticism. Prayers appreciated.

I'd be grateful for prayers for my friend L, whose older sister A is in hospital after a stroke and a heart attack. A has been ill for a long time and L has exhausted herself by fighting for the best possible care and treatment for her, and now she thinks that this is all her fault for complicated (and totally improbable) reasons.
