Praying for all here.
Only a little thing, but I'm waiting for an electrician to come and check the electrical wiring in my flat. I suspect that I'm going to have to have a lot of expensive and disruptive work done and I'm dreading having to cope with it all. please pray that it all goes more smoothly than I expect.

Please pray for the Dowager, becoming increasingly anxious as she waits for the results of all the tests she's been undergoing, and for the decision as to whether she can go on her cruise or not.
I think this is the last time she'll go on holiday so I do hope it will be authorised.
Her washing machine has broken (we've ordered another for her) and her phone won't do what she wants it to - how much is her angst and how much a real issue, I don't know - but please pray for peace of mind for her and the best possible outcome for her tests.
Thank you.

I can't believe your prayers have acted so quickly - the Dowager has emailed me (a miracle in itself!) to say she can go on her holiday. Already she sounds less anxious!

Praying for all that post here, and those that need prayers and cannot post. My mother is having a cataract operation today, if it works it will make a big difference to her quality of life, I'm trying not to think of the consequences if it doesn't. Prayers also for M, a young woman I last saw about fifteen years ago when she was a feisty teenager. She now has a progressive Illness and is finding life difficult.

Particularly today for a young man in the village who appears to have failed his school certificate exams again - lovely lad but low in confidence and perhaps not the brightest spark but... Apparently he was in tears about it last night and seems to be withdrawing even further, hopefully only temporarily
Jithin.
And for another young man, his neighbour, whose uncle, of whom he was very fond, died last night.
Vishnu.
And upholding all here who have requested prayer - and all those who haven't.

Thanks for prayers re my dental treatment. I think we've got a better plan in place, now.
Please pray for health, general upholding, successfully conquering bureaucracy, and private intentions.
Thanks.

It didn't go well. I've been given a quote for a huge (to me) amount of money for work I don't want to have done (but apparently have to). I don't know what to do - apart from the obvious thing of getting another quote - but I don't feel I can even cope with that at the moment. I can't do things like this. I'm in a total panic at the thought of it all.
(There is somebody who might help me with it a bit but I don't know if I can ask - they've done so much for me in th past, I can't ask for more help...)
I feel so disappointed. I really thought that things were starting to get better and now this has really thrown me.
Please pray that somehow all this will get sorted out

My current job is destroying my sanity and self-confidence (never high to start with). I really need a new one but hardly have the energy and time to continue searching.
I have tried a few things and met with a rafter of closed doors - I am soo tired and don't know where to turn to any more (sorry for whining).

Abigail,
Can you ask very tentatively in a way that would be easy to say "No" to? My father loves being useful to people, he says it is what makes life worthwhile, so if this person is like him, it would be a kindness to ask for help.
