I know this may sound like a statement of the bleedin' obvious, but if your usual church makes you feel so lonely and isolated, would it be possible to look for a different one? I know some churches can be horribly cliquey, even to people who've been going there for years; the church I grew up in was a bit like that, and once I was old enough I made my escape. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

May everyone and everything feel, do, and be a bit better.
For me: *some* improvement has happened on the bureaucratic front, but it's still a mess; healing a fight with a friend; various doctor appointments, and general strength/upholding.
Thanks.

Thank you. Friend is back home. BUT my Beloved God daughter has chalked up another experience of seeing her Mum taken to hospital by ambulance, and though she's very good (she phoned all the right people, she packed her Mum's overnight bag) she is only 12 and it is unnerving for her. Please pray that my friend has an extended period of good health and that my Beloved God daughter gets to relax.

Sorry, I shouldn't have posted this. I just felt really frustrated. Feeling a bit better now. It's not really as bad as I made it sound. It's just so disappointing that I feel on a different wavelength from most people there. But finding somewhere else just isn't an option for all sorts of reasons.
I do talk to one of the clergy, and he's always sympathetic. But there's a limit to the amount of times I can moan at him about what I think is wrong with the church.
Thank you for your prayers.

Prayers would be appreciated here please, as I am feeling confused about church and my role in it. I had felt so sure that God was calling me to this church, but the vicar does not seem to agree. The congregation are, on the whole, the most welcoming I have ever found but the vicar has truly lousy communication skills.
I feel it should not be this hard to find a church that will enable me to use my God-given gifts in His service ... ![[Help]](graemlins/help.gif)

I would like to ask your prayers for Frank, the nephew of my late husband.
Three years ago his wife, Sue, was diagnosed with cancer. She underwent any amount of chemo, but it kept spreading. Three weeks ago, she died.
Frank's mother, Betsy, died last week. She was ninety years old and had been failing for quite a while. She died peacefully of a heart attack.
These two deaths so close together are extremely hard on Frank. As he said to me, he lost the two important women in his life in less than three weeks. Please pray that God gives him peace and strength.
Also, he asked me to try to locate and notify a relative of Betsy's who used to live here in Blacksburg. He no longer lives where he used to, and I can't find him. I turned the problem over to my daughter Jan, who is very good at research, including locating people. This is important because I think Frank urgently needs to hear that at least one problem has been solved.
You might spare a prayer or two for Sue and Betsy also.
Thanks.
