...and particularly for my friend G in Bristol UK who has an aneurism in his liver and is facing yet more surgery soon - and two of his stents have sort of relocated themselves and need resiting. All this and MS too!

Feeling unwell, anxious that I may have a recurrence of a previous medical problem. Due to travel back to Tunisia on Thursday so probably no time to get checked out in the UK before I leave. And all the stress of goodbyes and packing in the next few days. Prayer appreciated. Thanks.

Been having a Facebook lie-in today, and the images coming through of the wildfires in the Pacific Northwest and Southern California are heartbreaking and terrifying. Even those fairly far away from the actual fires are suffering from oppressive amounts of smoke in the air. Please pray for that nature may work her stuff out sooner rather than later.

Thanks to God and all Her children who prayed for me and my wife on our move from the Atlanta, GA area to Tacoma, WA! We are more or less settled in and loving it here, except for the horrible wildfires burning in the eastern part of the state and the smoke that nearly covered the entire city of Tacoma today. It's hard for us to breathe. Please, as others have posted, pray for all the brave men and women valiantly fighting these fires in Washington, Colorado, Idaho, California, and anywhere else I might have forgotten to mention.

Last-minute prayers would be appreciated: I have a job interview in an hour and a half. I don't know if this will be the job I want, but I need something!
And today I learned that my former job, which was eliminated on me in Spring '14, has been re-created. It looks like with more hours, too, which is what I needed at the time. I live on the opposite side of the country now, but it still stings a little. (The employer in question has had a change of leadership, and I think the new boss sees that it was a mistake to eliminate my job.) So, anyway, that has me feeling a bit of a sting, especially since I'm still unemployed well over a year later... I've been feeling quite depressed the past few weeks, and this doesn't help - but I need to present myself well today!

The one who is doctor by me has checked us all who are 60 or 70. He was checking us if we are dementia. He asked what were the names - Elizabeth and David Cameron and I do remember them. Some remember what they look like and others their names. They also now check us all at a place where they talk about dementia !

A few days ago I announced that we are now grandparents. The little lad hasn't been well and he's still in hospital (with his mum). At first he wouldn't feed and now he's picked up an infection so, in addition to antibiotics, he's had a lumbar puncture. That went OK, but please pray that it doesn't show anything he can't cope with.

Sitrep on Little S, our favourite grandchild. The infection turns out to be E Coli and it's got to his spinal fluid. While the medics are concerned they got to it quickly and he is improving. He could be in for a while yet though, so keep it coming.
We're really proud of his mum and dad. Younger daughter, N has jumped into the role of wacky aunt and #1 helper with enthusiasm.

Some bad news. The S that I have asked for prayers for due to his drinking is back in the hospital again, very bad off, due to of course his drinking. His wife is going to leave him, he has liver damage, and alcoholic dementia. Prayers are desperetly needed.
Thanks for the prayers for my unmotivation, I did get a fair bit of packing done yesterday with my brother's help.
