May I ask for your prayers for S., yet another acquaintance who's been diagnosed with breast cancer? That's three in the last month. [Waterworks]

Friend's mother who has been reminded of her pain from a stillborn daughter half a century ago by a TV soap last night, in which the issue was dealt with so humanely by hospital staff, as her case was not. "You can always have another one.." She could not. The child was buried in someone else's grave, unmarked.
The pain is taken out on her son, who, though a toddler at the time, somehow must carry some of the blame.
My grandmother never forgot her lost son, so I know it is a lifetime sorrow, but I don't think my mother was made to bear the problem.

Hello friends, it's been a while....

Of your charity, please pray for C. I ask for God's blessing on his heart and on his mind, for a blessing on his hands and feet, that he may know the consoling love of the Holy Spirit, that his soul may be lifted in joy, that he may know the freedom of God's mercy.

Lord Jesus, I'd just like to hear from him..... all I can do is pray, and that's enough for now.

Amen [Votive]

I really need prayer for a Thing I have to do tomorrow.

I have to play an instrument at a Thing, and as I loathe most of what I have to play (I don't really respond well to worship music) my inner teenager has come out to play.

Please pray for self-restraint, for love and charity towards other people involved and even that I might actually enjoy it?

I am getting really stressed about this.
