About a month ago I fell off my front steps onto my concrete driveway. It was a cold day and I was well wrapped so I thought only my dignity was hurt but I later found I had a bruise the size of my hand on one breast. It's faded now but I am left with a lump so my GP is sending me for a mammogram, which is apparently the usual protocol here if a breast lump doesn't go away.
I know it is probably just the injury, but having had a previous lump removed and another one investigated I am
I would appreciate prayers because in my head I think I'm over reacting, but believing that isn't stopping me doing it.

Thx.

Huia - I had a breast lump recently and knowing a little bit about these things know men can get breast cancer, too and was convinced that's what it was and was gearing myself up to go to the local medical college hospital - and the lump, which had hung around for a couple of weeks, disappeared overnight.

My sister's little dog (ten-pound pug-chihuahua mix) was off-color yesterday, not eating very much, quieter than usual. Today she threw up (said my sister) what looked like a quart of blood, more than it seemed she could possibly have had in her stomach. She's in the hospital tonight with suspected hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Please pray for a quick recovery.

Sorry for slow update, had a lot on. Sister turned up just as I was getting the phone number for the pub to tell them we would be late. She had left late because the friend she has staying because of back injuries was not in a good mood because of the badgers in the garden. There had been a lot of hold ups en route. She had got off the motorway at the wrong junction and got lost - actually coming past the pub we were going to. After the meal I had a long phone call from a friend who needed a boost. The next day we had to get up early to go north of the river (Thames) in case of gridlock at the crossing to go to our cousin's funeral. She was one of the younger ones of our generation, so it was a bit gloomy. We hadn't seen each other for a long time, so her photo on the service order, looking like my passport picture was another negative. (I had never thought we were alike, but her neighbour said that seeing me was eerie as our profiles were the same). Please think of Helen, Frances' sister, and Donna, Laura and John, her children, with her grandchildren. Frances' death was sudden and not very pleasant to have to think about. She fell in the house and could not get up, her foot being trapped. She wasn't found for 28 hours, when Donna had the house broken into, but although they got her to hospital, she then had a heart attack. Then we took my other sister to the cemetery where her first husband's ashes are. Yesterday, I spent a lot of time asleep after Susie went home. And there were other family issues to think about, which I will have to work out how to approach. Thank you for your prayers, and sorry not to have got you up to date sooner. [ 17. Please pray for my niece. She is bright, but does not perform well in tests, particularly wordy tests. So much so that the mismatch has resulted in concern for my sister.
It is slowly dawning on us that it may be due to a minor physical disability that directly impinges on here ability to read. We have known about the disability almost since she was born but had not previously put 2+2 together. It looks as if it is treatable, but I suspect the treatment isn't available in the UK.
This means that my sister now has to fight to get the adaptation/treatment that my niece needs to perform to her intellectual ability.
