For all in any kind of trouble or difficulty.

For me: Dealing with a Big Thing (tm) on Tuesday morning, US Pacific time. Very scary, and could go very, very badly, despite my having done the right things. I'm sick from stress and all my usual stuff, but I have to be there. And I'll have to talk. Please pray for banishing/taming the bureaucratic and housing monsters, for a really good outcome in my favor, and for general health and upholding.

Thanks always.

Please pray for T, the mother of seven children, 23-3 years old. She collapsed and doctors found a perforated bowel. She has had four operations and is in an induced coma. There are more perforations, but the surgeon says he can do no more and wants to send her to a hospice. The hospital is not quite so pessimistic and are keeping her in coma in ICU in the hope she may be able to heal herself.

The family is devatated, they are very close. The children, even the young ones have seen their mum and held her hand and told her they love her.

For my mum Janet, dying in hospital following a huge stroke on Sunday night.

I give thanks for the superb care she is receiving, and for the endless stream of relatives who are popping in to support me and my brother and to sit and talk to Mum about their shared memories. Sometimes its great to have so many rellies.

I'm also praying for my Aunty Margaret, born in the same year as Mum, and one of her closest friends for her entire life. Aunty Margaret is one floor up in the hospital, also very ill, but hopefully not dying. We've been visiting her every day - she can't come and see Mum and is very distressed about it.
