My sister is still very ill with pneumonia. She thought she felt a bit better but said she was still very hot and clammy. She has been told that unless the temperature goes down soon, she will be admitted to hospital. this is complicated by the hot flushes she gets from the tamoxifen she has to take every day of her life. It is the only chemo the breast cancer responds to.

My DIL is looking after her.

For all the offline world people who are trying to help me, and the ones who *should*, but...

For me: Wednesday meeting, health (particularly this awful migraine), and general upholding.

Thanks!

Praying through, for all. [Votive]

The Pater returned to the hospital early this morning (at least this time he called 911, instead of driving himself) and is in ICU. His heart is not working properly; he is not responding adequately to his meds, and his organs are failing. They are talking about hospice.

My daughters and I will drive over in the morning. We're all having a hard time, but it's worse for them. Prayers for all the Valkyrie family would be appreciated.

My husband is due to have his operation to remove a brain tumour tomorrow. Please pray for him and those who will treat him and for all our family too. [If you are local, you may recognise our story from this; he is not a shipmate but I post this with permission.]

My sister is still very ill with pneomonia and my DIL has been there since Tuesday. I she stays in bed she is ok, but more than a minute or two on her feet and she collapses. We are trying to work out what to do about family Christmas gathering on 19/12. She is obviously not going to be well enough to attend.

Reading and praying.... [Votive]

Praying for [Votive] C [Votive] that he should take care of himself. Lord, light his path and guide his feet on the way.

And the same prayer for all of us this season, for our waiting, for our faith, our hope, our joy. Amen.

The Pater is now in home hospice care. My prayer is that his end be neither too soon (before the far-traveling family can get there) nor too late (when he doesn't know us any longer).

This is harder in its way than my cancer treatments were. Asking prayers for the Aged P (that he not suffer) and for me (because I'm having to make rapid-fire decisions concerning matters outside my knowledge and abilities, and it is imperative that I make the right ones).

My oldest brother is losing it - dementia or something similar and he's only 64. He was learning disabled from birth due to a lack of oxygen and I've watched him struggle all my life.

It just seems so bloody unfair.

Please pray - I just feel angry and heartbroken.

My husband has come through his operation and is recovering for which we give thanks, but it has left two areas of damage for which he will need therapy. Please pray for access to treatment and healing and patience for him (and strength for me to be able to give him all the help he needs).
