Here in February many places are having cold and snow, yet today I saw an apple tree in full bloom. It made me think that spring is here, even though it may freeze next week. What things make you feel that spring has sprung?

Just been in Sweden, where the lakes freeze to a depth of 6-9 inches. Back in the UK it's still cold, but there were rafts of blossoming narcissi and daffodils in Southend, Essex (which does have its own micro climate.)

For me, it's got to be skylarks & bluebells. Rarely at the same time, but a good springtime walk should incorporate both.
A less beauteous sign would be leaving work during daylight hours. It's then properly summer when you arrive home after work during daylight hours.

The early spring that we're having (temperatures in the 80s and even up to 90) means that every tree, bush, and weed, is throwing off clouds of pollen. Like many others, I'm sniffing, sneezing, and trying very hard not to rub my red, itchy eyes.

Two weeks ago it was +14.5°C here (southern Ontario) - the highest February temperature ever recorded. On Sunday it was -28°C and this morning it's -20 again. The cat is not pleased.

Over here it was +12°C last night, which is positively tropical for February, but by Sunday it's due to go back to -5°, so I doubt that we'll be looking out for signs of spring any day soon. It's shifted some of the snow though, which is a Good Thing.
If we get snowdrops before Easter we reckon we're doing well.

In my old home, the neighbor's willow tree showed yellow-green, the red maples in the swamp turned red as their buds swelled, and the barred owls' vocalizations got more complex. We moved in June, so I'm looking for what the signs of Spring will be in this neighborhood.

My elm tree is covered with buds ready to burst open! Sometimes it doesn't bud out until April!
It's still winter, though. The robins aren't brave enough to go back north and are enjoying my back yard bugs!

Birds are nesting or chasing each other around, snowdrops and daffodils are out and the blackthorn is in blossom. Any day now the first spring lambs will be out in the fields, taking wobbly steps and exploring their new world. Also, it's Lent, which means Easter is on its way.
In the shops, Cadbury's mini-eggs are now on sale, hot cross buns have been around all year, and the Halloween stuff hasn't been put out just yet.

We got a half meter of snow on Tuesday. Spring is still a long way off.
When I can rake the winter out of the grass, and the street sweepers have clean the streets, that will be spring.

I've seen catkins, and the daffodils are out on a roundabout lower down the valley. The daffodils on the bank behind our house are springing up, but not yet in bud. The primroses are out on a bank in the next valley over. I haven't seen any lambs yet, but there are a few places where pregnant ewes have been brought into easily accessible fields.
