Thread: Problems staying logged on to the Ship

Excuse me if this question is either stupid or unanswerable. Whereas I can remain logged onto SoF indefinitely on my desktop computer, I seem unable to remain continuously logged in on my smart phone (iPhone 6). This has meant that every time I might be inclined to join in a thread whilst using my smart phone, I find that I have to log back on, and for whatever reason the SoF site seems very fussy about accepting my log-in info. So it's just too much trouble most of the time, but most of my posting on other social media is done very my phone. Any explanation or remedy for this as far as anyone knows, i.e., remaining logged on with the iPhone?

Something to do with cookies. Something on the iPhone is blocking the cookies set by the Ship.

I remain logged in on my iPhone 6 with no issues, currently. Check your cookie settings. Always Allow should always work. Allow for Sites I visit should work but I can see where it might be problematic. The other settings will very likely cause trouble regarding this. Might I suggest you also ask this question in the tech support thread in Heaven? More will see it there.

Thanks. I'm going to try the Always allow cookies setting (it was previously on "For sites I visit") and see if that does the trick. If not, I'll go to Heaven.

Neph somehow set me up with a SOF button on my screen-- also set it as my Safari home page. Only time I have to log back in is when there is a software upgrade.
