Lord P is out in Texas and we were concerned when he facebooked that he had spent the evening in a&e. He later messaged me that he is ok, it was the daughter of the family who was in hospital. She has lots of health problems, particularly with pain, and one of her implants (to control pain) had come out. She will be having an operation tomorrow. Please pray for Isabel and her family.

I do read this prayer thread regularly and pray it, but don't often post.
Can I ask for prayers for Brian, a work colleague who was found dead yesterday after not being in contact for a couple of days. And for everyone affected by his death. We are going to have some devastated young people.

ONGOING TASK IS STILL ONGOING AND I HAVE TO WRITE AN ENTIRE PAPER TOMORROW AND WHAT EVEN IS MY LIFE both of these things better succeed.
The Finance-Monster is retreating into the background, though, and another persistent problem is responding to a new approach. I am not keeping my Lenten promise to not oversleep, though, and once I break the chain it tends to stay broken, so if I could get in gear about this it would be great.
