My husband's brother is sitting up (with help) and even eating a bit. He may recover from this episode, though he's still on hospice. Thank you for praying!

Reading back over the last couple of pages and praying for all here
Please pray for me too. I feel quite stressed at the moment, particularly about work, where we are exceptionally busy and about church: I've been taking a break from my usual church and have to decide whether and/or when to go back.
(On the plus side, all my physical aches and pains seem to have resolved, so grateful thanks for that!)

A couple of weeks ago I requested prayer for J, my elderly neighbour, who has cancer and is basically now at home waiting for the end. I saw his son today and asked after J, apparently up until very recently he wasn't in any pain, but the pain has now hit in the last couple of days, and nurses are visiting regularly to administer morphine. So please do keep him in your prayers, along with his wife and all their (very close) family. Thank you

Praying for healing of whatever kind for all here
Would appreciate prayers for my church situation which has gone quite badly pear-shaped and will be so for the foreseeable future. In desperate need of mental fortitude, creative thinking and possibly a miraculous intervention. Many thanks.

Been fighting some sort of infection that makes it difficult for me to keep anything down. I need to feel better.
Also, I had an unbelievably bad nightmare last night. I'm really hoping it doesn't mean anything.

I've done this before, but I'd like to ask for prayers again for the people affected by Zika. The fear of pregnant women and the people surrounding them is immense.

For Nicolemr’s Bob, his wife Virginia, and their children and grandchildren. And for S and B.
For all N’s family.
For Mr. Chopped’s brother An.
For Abigail, for relief of workload, and for a good church to go to. For continued physical healing.
For Jack the Lass’s J, and his wife and all their family, especially his wife I.
For ArachnidinElmet’s church situation to resolve for the better, and for mental fortitude, creative thinking and a miraculous intervention.
For the healing and upholding of Mad Cat and C.
For healing for saysay, and for bad dreams not to be prophetic.
For Doone’s S and T.
For us all to reach our full potential today.
For Lia’s new job to start going better.
For everyone affected by Zika.
Endless and crucial task is endless and crucial. If I do it wrong I’ll cut off future opportunity. If I do it right, but too late, future opportunity will also be cut off. If future opportunity is cut off…??? it would be bad.
For P. and for K.
For S., who just had her second son prematurely. He is still in the NICU.
For M., worried about her father.
Whereas I'm pretty much keeping one of my Lenten promises, I've crapped out on the other one. How about I rescue this one in the time I still have available?

I have a friend who is concerned that there is something demonic affecting his life, through a relation.
I have problems with a belief in demons, and am more likely to attribute his situation to someone's selfcentredness.
I also have problems with intercessory prayer, which he feels may be the solution, as it has not, in my experience, resolved anything I have prayed about for others*. To the extent that I am reluctant to pray for others in case it has a negative effect.
Which is why I don't come here very much.
But support for my friend other than what I can physically offer would be welcomed. He does seem to be strengthened in his ability to cope, at any rate. As do I. But he has a tremendous burden, which would be lessened if the other party could somehow be supported to find non-manipulative ways of relating to others.
*These prayers have not been the prescriptive sort of shopping list prayers I have sometimes read about being answered. I don't assume I know the best way of dealing with problems. [ 15. March 2016, 21:13: Message edited by: Penny S ]

May everyone and everything have what they need, in the best possible, least harmful way.
For friends with various difficulties.
For me: Still dealing with bureaucracy. Also health, general upholding, and private intentions.
Thx.

I'm so scared right now. And I don't know whether there's anything real to fear or if it's just my anxiety acting up, and I don't know how to find out.
But I'd like the fear to stop.

I am off to do A Thing on Sunday, which I am nervous about, and which I have hopes for, and which I don't want to **** up. I hope that a friend will come and keep me company, but folks are all v busy. If no-one can chum me, I will be fine going on my own, but I'd really welcome some moral support.
Please pray that I can feel confident about it all, buddy or no buddy, and that I don't **** it up.
Amen.
