Nothing so far - I think he said his surgery was to be this week (after being postponed), so he's maybe still incommunicado. I hope the old adage that "no news is good news" holds.
Still keeping him in my prayers though, along with all others in need.

I should add that I don't know BF in RL - I'm going by a post from him on 29th April saying it had been scheduled for "next Wednesday", which would have been last week, assuming there were no further delays.

Reading and praying
Please pray for our S3 at school. Next week, we visit WW1 battlefields in Belgium, a rite of passage visit that happens every year. Everyone is very excited, but it's also a really emotional and profound experience for these 15 year olds. Lord, be with us as we pay tribute and remember. Please help the kids to be open to the experience, to the past and to their future, that the ones who need perspective gain it, the ones who need comfort find it, and the ones who just need to grow up a bit are able to reflect.
Also, prayers continue for C , that he might imagine possibilities that he may have previously thought out of his grasp. And for me, Lord: keep me firm in the hope you have set before me.

For me: Another pivotal bit of bureaucratic bother today. If it goes in my favor, some things should ease up. May all hearts and minds be open and working; may common sense show up (with a clue bat, if necessary); may the niggling, neglected (but crucial!) details be seen and handled properly; and may this all be resolved *soon* in my favor, and completed *soon*, so I can get on with my life.

Prayers would be appreciated here: my business partner is having to retire at the end of this month and, as a resulting sole practitioner conducting almost entirely property work, mortgage lenders will stop instructing me and my professional indemnity insurance premiums will rocket.
I have tried over the last several months and more desperately in the last several weeks to secure some kind of merger or additional partner(s) with various local practitioners/ firms but on each occasion have either hit a roadblock or been let down rather badly. Now the latest firm with which I've been negotiating have hit a major snag as of yesterday.
The clock is ticking and, unless I sort something out, I'm basically stuffed as of 1st June. I'm on pretty strong anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds which have kept the wolf from the door by and large up until now, but I'm starting to crumble now.
Lia - I have a fair inkling as to what you're going through...

Prayers for my mother-in-law, P, who had a bad fall today, hit her head on the stairs, and has been airlifted to a trauma center in the city.
DH will probably have to fly there tonight or tomorrow, depending on how things go in the next couple of hours.
Thank you, everyone, for all your prayers. It heartens me so, knowing that prayers are ascending from around the world.
