Today is my son's final submission date for the project work which is the final component of his degree. He was going to have to pull an all-nighter to finish in time but it was do-able, until yesterday lunchtime when he ate dodgy chicken.
I am a long, long way away from him.
Please pray that a) He recovers quickly b) He listens to my sensible advice c) He gets an extension d) He finishes the project.
Especially b) which will facilitate a), c) and d).

Please can I ask for your prayers for R and for D, both of whom have lost fathers recently, and for J whose mother passed away a couple of days ago. And for the souls of the departed parents.
And could you pray for another J who gave me a hard time at work yesterday and I don't know what else to do but pray for him.
And for me please because I'm feeling very low.
My prayers for all of you.

Possibly; time is running out for me, although my retiring partner has flung me a stay of execution today by saying that he'll stay on as a nominal part-time partner for a bit longer

Reading and praying
Please pray for O, as I am not able at the moment. He is a very troubled boy, whose behaviour during our battlefields visit started at inappropriate and escalated from there.
His parents will be in school next week to discuss what happened. Please pray for them, that they can bear to hear what happened, and that they find the best way to support their son.
Any prayer you can spare for me would be welcome at the end of a powerful, exhilirating and brutal few days.
Prayers continue for C that he find freedom from the dark place he is in.
Amen.

Please pray for me.
I had what appears to be a mini-stroke on Thursday evening, saw the GP yesterday, and am off to the Neurology department at the hospital this morning.
It was the tiniest of transient ischaemic attacks, but it has the power to change my life so dramatically - if I have to die I can live with that (!) but I really do not want to have to face the challenge of a major stroke.
Please pray for me

Oh yes, Telepath, order out of chaos sounds an excellent idea!
Holding us all in the living, loving Light.
Wishing someone a migraine seems odd to someone who used to get them on a regular basis but it seems a very good idea this time!

Absolutely, WW - now that I've re-read my post it does look a bit peculiar. I'm sure the Almighty knows what I meant; I hope Mrs. S. does too.
Telepath's request for order out of chaos could have been written for us at the moment; it's what we're trying to achieve chez Piglet ...

I am about to send an e-mail I am extremely nervous about. It has to do with the situation I alluded to in my previous post, and to do with the continuing saga of my alcoholic friend S. Please pray that my e-mail is received well, and that someone's hard heart is softened. And for strength for me no matter what happens.

Just to say I know of somebody who was rushed to hospital with a suspected stroke that turned out to be a migraine. Not really sure migraines are totally benign by comparison; migraines do strange things to the brain and body. However, I suspect migraines are preferable.

Reading and praying
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Louie, killed in a car crash on his way to celebrate a friend's birthday.
Praying for the school day tomorrow, for the person who booed when he should have cheered, for the situation with O, for positive outcomes all round, and for people to get the help they need, especially the young ones....
.... for all people who are in a dark place, especially those whose coping strategy is to drag others into the dark. I'm thinking of O and R....
..... and for C , tonight as every night.
Amen. [ 22. May 2016, 21:43: Message edited by: Mad Cat ]

For me: Thanks for your prayers. One part of my ongoing bureaucratic situation is over, in my favor. Whew. I'm trying to recover. But there are still other very important things to resolve. And the other parties involved don't want to do that, and are saying things about me that are false. So I'm in need of resolving this in my favor, and setting it to rights; health and general upholding; comfort; and private intentions.
Thanks.
