Thank you all for your prayers and kind wishes - believe me, I'm pinning my hopes on migraine as what I have/had seems to be very mild visual disturbances; it was the addition of a speech disturbance that spooked us so badly.

Neurologist says we may never know which it was but is treating me as if it were a mini-stroke (statins, blood-pressure-lowering drugs, aspirin) just in case. Carotid arteries, neurological tests etc all normal. [Overused]

Thank you again [Axe murder]

Prayers ascending for all those in need [Votive] and for order from chaos [Votive]

Daisymay, when they get older, they will look back on the times you collected them and will appreciate it.

One son did a lot of childminding after he split from his partner. He loves his children dearly, but ex- partner was using him while she was out on the town. His daughter, now mid teens remarked that dad was always there when she needed him.

Prayers for everyone here, esp. Mrs. S.

And prayers for Miss Amanda's condo.

[Votive] for all in need, especially the people in the department where I work; the Provincial government's recent budget* has slashed our funding.

My contract will now end on 24th June; as we're moving to Fredericton anyway, this isn't so bad, but for my colleagues D., J. and S. it will probably mean either drastically cut hours or redundancy, and for our bosses T. and K. a much harder job doing what they do without our support.

* they spent merrily while oil prices were high, and when they plummeted, they suddenly discovered they weren't as rich as they'd thought, and are wielding the hatchet everywhere.

Sorry for the double post. Just heard that a colleague's son is in hospital having lost a finger in an accident. Prayers for O and his mum S. The fact that he is in the middle of his GCSE exams must be added to the worry and stress.

For the repose of the soul of Mad Cat’s Louie.

For Mad Cat’s school day, for the person who booed when he should have cheered, for the situation with O, for positive outcomes all round, and for people to get the help they need, especially the young ones. For all those in a dark place, in particular O and R. For C.

For Nicolemr and S. For D to change his mind.

For Erroneous Monk. For R on the day of his father’s funeral.

For Golden Key, for recovery from the bureaucratic situation and for resolution of the other important things, all in Golden Key’s favour, and for it to be set to rights; for health and general upholding; comfort, and private intentions.

For complete healing for Mrs. S and for this all to have been a migraine.

For relief for daisymay’s schedule and for her brother to be able to pick up the kids. (And actually yeah, it is a blessing for them to spend time with you.)

For quick and successful sale of Amanda’s condo. Same for Piglet.

For all in Piglet’s department, for sufficient funding, especially for D, J and S; and for bosses T and K.

For Gussie’s colleague S and her son O, for healing and also exam success in this traumatic time.

For the Telemum.

For stupendous, incredible financial wisdom for me, combined with stupendous and incredible financial luck.

For J., a young mother facing redundancy; and for A., whose father has died. For R. as he rebuilds his life. For R., in new fatherhood. For me to bring them great help.

For K.

For order out of chaos.

--------------------
Take emptiness and lying speech far from me, and do not give me poverty or wealth. Give me a living sufficient for me.

Thanks be to God - blood tests are all clear. The doctors don't know quite what the rash is but the good news is that it isn't meningitis. He's displaying no other symptoms so we just wait and see what happens with it.

Prayers for the family of Tameika. She was only 33 and died suddenly from a heart attack. She leaves a young husband and two very young children. 33 is too young to die and she was apparently fit and healthy. Nobody knows why it happened. Her life support was switched off yesterday. RIP Tameika

My mother has lung cancer, and for a while now the drug they had her one was working like a charm -- no cancer, no side effects. Now it has quit working, and they will have to rethink. Prayers for her health and her courage, please -- her first impulse is to just give up, on the argument that late 80s is old enough.

Reading and praying [Votive]

Please pray for a big healing thing that needs to happen for me. I need some courage, and to find the right words too. Prayers continue for [Votive] C's [Votive] healing also, and for light in all dark places.

Amen.
