Thx.

Please continue to pray for M and for J. They've been made redundant. Please pray that they can now rest, that their pain may be eased and the wounds heal, that their next steps will become clear, that they will find suitable new jobs, and that they will continue to know how loved they are.

Please pray also for the volunteers who worked with them, who are now expected to pick up their work to keep things going, that we will be able to do so, and without getting bitter in our hearts about what has happened, that we will be able to hold together as a team, and that our pain and grief will also heal.

Thank you.
Wayward

Today is E.'s birthday, the nephew I have mentioned who shot himself and his girlfriend years ago. His mother, stepfather and siblings are having a very hard day. Please pray for them , and for the repose of E. And A., and for A's family.
I really worry about the kids- they are still so wounded by all of it.

Eldest son marries on Monday and Mrs Sioni has to:

- Alter own frock to fit
- Complete not one, but two bridesmaid's dresses (including one for my younger daughter who, like me, is 6'2")
- Complete The Cake, a triple decker, marzipaned, iced and decorated with a shedload of sugar craft orchids.

Meanwhile, I have had to give up my waistcoat to my son, as the one he bought a couple of months back doesn't fit any more.

God give us strength.

For all approaching the end of life, and for those who have gone before, and those who are left behind. [Votive]

A friend I've known since childhood will be going to her father's funeral tomorrow. He had a fall earlier this year and never really recovered.

I'll be thinking of her and of Amos tomorrow.

May the angels bring them, and anyone in a similar situation, peace, strength and comfort.

And for anyone worried about what this coming week may bring, I wish you that as well.
