For peace in the world, peace between individuals, and peace in every individual.
May everyone tempted or driven to violence stop, get help, and find another, better way to channel their turmoil.
May all political candidates and those around them be kept safe.
For me: Continuing resolution of my bureaucratic problems, and may everyone get along, and may there be no more flare-ups. Plus general health and upholding for me, and some private intentions.
thx. [ 27. July 2016, 08:01: Message edited by: Golden Key ]

Please pray for my friend Jock who fell and broke his hip last week just a few days before his 91st birthday, for Betty who had a stroke and fell down the stairs last week, and also for Jacques who over the past few months has had several health scares and who is now recuperating at home under the steely eye of his wife and under strict orders not to do anything. He is 89. (and bored).
Lord, have mercy.

If this is the place for prayer requests, then of your mercy please pray for Mrs Gamaliel.
She had contracted breast cancer for the second time and a mastectomy was booked for 10th August. They've now found the cancer has spread to her liver, pelvic bone and some of the bones in her back. They've cancelled the mastectomy in favour of tackling the liver first.
She's shaken but in good heart. The Gamalielettes are being cool.
We've got a week away and then the treatment starts.

Adding my former co-worker who lost her husband to cancer last week; memorial tomorrow.
And for one of my current co workers who really needs to secure a position that makes her happy and allows for growth (our workplace does neither).
For all in need, whatever that need be.

My eldest son wrecked both ankles falling down stairs at work some years ago. When they healed enough for him to start moving, it was found back was also badly damaged from concrete stairs. Two major operations and a very major one later, he has been in constant severe pain. Yesterday he had an electronic deivce implanted in back. State of the art, trials showed it helped. However, he now has to recover from the implant and start what could be several weeks of tweaking settings.
Prayers appreciated by us all.
