Briefly, I had a large tumour (a meningioma) completely removed on 4th May. It was non-malignant, but I suffered several nasty seizures after the op, and was in hospital for about a month. I've more or less had to relearn how to walk properly, and how to use my left hand, and I still have some minor mobility problems. At least I'm now able to walk to my local church, though my own is still out of reach (and there are other issues involving the priest-in-charge which mean I'm better off keeping away).
for those on this thread, especially those like 5th Mary who are uncertain as to what's wrong with them.

Very glad to see you!

Holding us all in the living, loving Light.
All of us here have colds again which is hardly serious but it includes the twins and means that sleep for the parents is a bit restricted.

I wonder if I could solicit a few prayers over the next ten days or so. As a few of you will know I was dismissed from my post earlier this year, and have, in some ways reluctantly (not to mention expensively) elected to fight this through ecclesiastical courts.
My tribunal hearing is next Tuesday (20th, not 13th) and any prayers around clarity, honesty, integrity and justice (oh, and cash flow) would be deeply appreciated.

Offering up some thanks.
On 20 July after some heavy gardening I wasn't feeling too well and told LKKspouse I needed to go to the hospital. She called the ambulance (now why didn't I think of that?) and when it arrived I was starting to sweat, so much so it was hard to keep the electrodes in place to do an ECG. The ECG went down the mobile phone network to a cardiologist who directed the ambo to thrombolise me on the way to the hospital the cardio wanted me at. Sirens flashing and at 155kph I was being giving ?methadone and some other drugs via drip to bring my heart rate up to 50bpm. Half way there they finally succeeded and at the arriving in emergency after 28 minutes the blood clot was busted and so surgery was put off for four weeks. The ambo called in the other Sunday and said they had been trained to thrombolise for four years, but I was his first case. Well, he seemed like a seasoned professional to me.
So, thanks for the medical and paramedical system and people, medical technology, automotive technology and road system, and especially for a decisive spouse whose father had five heart attacks and knew what it was all about.

Update on T: he's just had a letter from the DWP confirming that they don't think he's fit to work (though threatening another review in three years) and he's hugely relieved. He says thank you for your prayers and asks if you would also pray for his neighbour J, who had her interview three days after his.
And for all here.

May the soul of Fernando rest in peace. He was a creative, good humored alcoholic who lived on the streets near the open studio in which I did art work. He did art too, as well as singing, and writing poetry, and afflicting people with poles up their a*ses. I will miss him. ![[Votive]](graemlins/votive.gif)

For all affected by the atrocious rental housing situation in the UK right now.
And e especially a family known to us who move into homeless families hostel provision today; through no fault of their own either.
May God have mercy on all affected.... [ 14. September 2016, 11:17: Message edited by: Ethne Alba ]
