I know I've not been around in a long while so I probably shouldn't be asking, but here goes anyway.
Please can you pray for my mother in law, who has recently been diagnosed as having Alzheimer's.
Please can you pray for my wife, who is struggling to cope.

Especially for Sherwood and the whole family as you come to term with the diagnosis
I was a carer to a relative for Alzheimer's for many years, so I really sympathise.
I also ask for wisdom and some peace of mind for myself, as I struggle with my an important decision relating to job choices

Please pray for my colleague S and her family. S's father is disabled by a stroke, and it sounds like he is nearing his end.
Please pray that he makes a good death. Since his stroke he has been frustrated and hard to live with. S also has a, shall we say, 'feisty' teenage daughter to care for. She has a lot on her plate.
Lord, help her to bear her burdens.
Prayers today for C that his work be prospered and his soul be uplifted.

Herself is still in hospital and has another scan today - if the scan and her blood sugar are satisfactory we are all hoping [none more than her!] that she can be discharged soon.

Prayers please for the boyfriend of one of my cousins. Apparently they were on a holiday, and he had to be flown to big hospital by air ambulance due to a severe heart attack; he is back in a hospital near home now.
I really hope they'll quit their (life-long) smoking habit. This is just so upsetting.

Today's prayer request is for my other colleague C. He and his wife are separating. They have one wee one together and there are 3 wee steps who love him to bits. Please pray for this family in their troubles.
I remember C before the Lord. Lord, let your loving presence enfold and encourage him.

My neighbor's son J got in a car accident today. First I heard " he went through the windshield" and then " he's coming home tonight," so I'm not really sure what to make of things. In any case, I'm sure he could use prayer.

Please pray for me. Work have been horrible about my sickness record while pregnant and suffering hyperemesis. Legally they can't discipline me for it, but the stress is incredibly upsetting and is ( ironically) making me sicker.

Update on J: the accident was much less critical than I had first heard--low speed, and J just smashed his face against the windshield, not through it. He stayed overnight and got an MRI, but otherwise came home with a set of impressive nose scratches and a great story to tell. Doctors say he will be fine.
