DIL's dad has been readmitted to hospital with a recurrence of pneumonia which he had a few weeks ago. Possibly 70 or so, it is complicated by work related emphysema. He has been told that he will not be allowed out this time unless doctors are absolutely sure it has gone.

IANAD but I find Arnica cream is really, really good on bruising. You may have to go to a Homoeopathic pharmacy for it but it really does work for me.

Please pray for J who died last night of liver cancer. Her husband G and four young daughters are devastated. The youngest daughter is four, a gorgeous little girl with Down's syndrome who is neither verbal nor mobile. The eldest is twelve and about to start high school at the end of January.

For the soul of Lothlorien's J and for consolation for her family.

For everyone newly, or oldly bereaved at this time of year.

For everyone hurt in car accidents, especially LC and Other Driver.

For medical professionals working accident & emergency over the festive season.

And for Father T, priest, friend, a husband and father, in hospital after a severe stroke.

Lothlorien's J and her family.

For a quick recovery for LC and Other Driver and a quick resolution to get on the road again.

A full recovery for Father T

A good outcome for Zoey

Can I ask for healing for S, Middle Son's partner please. She fainted and fractured a cheekbone a couple of days ago so quite what her one year old will make of Mummy-with-a-shiner I don't know.

[Votive] for the orphaned children of Aleppo, and for all still suffering in that wretched civil war.

[Votive] for all on this thread, for themselves, and for those they love and care for.

[Votive] for clergy and lay ministers visiting the housebound, sick, and lonely, this Christmas, that they may be channels of peace, hope, and encouragement.
